We had such a great time in this restaurant. We felt in another world full of delicious flavours, rich fragrances and the legendary kindness of India and all in such a colourful and joyful atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious, meat was so juicy and tender. Simply amazing. A must✨
And they have also beautiful things to sell, like jewellery and furnitures and small Indian items. A place to go in Bologna for a great change of pasta, pizza and panini 😉

Indian cuisine restaurant in the center of Bologna, visited for dinner.
The restaurant is very spacious and has several rooms with numerous seats, the decor is showy, perhaps even a little excessively pompous, the tones are muted, the lights are low.
We order some appetizers and a main course each.
The starters aren't bad, the biryani that I had instead didn't convince me much, but above all it didn't convince my Indian friend who had ordered the same dish either.
I come away not entirely convinced, personally as a yardstick I have experiences in London and I have better memories of them.
Neutral staff with few words, service at the right times, generous portions of the main dishes (each biryani could easily feed more people)
I have never had the pleasure of trying Indian cuisine, but after having been to this place (an institution in Bologna), I will return quite often. Spicy dishes excellently presented by the staff. Delicate or strong flavors. A beautiful experience.

Environment detailed by drapes on the ceiling and large, very colorful spaces, in the evening there is a warm soft light that creates a comfortable atmosphere.
Spicy dishes, not too spicy, pleasant.
I recommend the tandoori chicken.
Mango juice is excellent as a drink to drink during the courses, if you need an extra hot touch, you can request salsa separately.
Abundant dishes.

A very good Indian restaurant in Bologna. The meats, the chicken, the rice, the breads, the sauces... everything is excellent and authentically Indian, no offense to certain (un)connoisseurs of this cuisine who have raged here in the comments. The rooms constitute a huge ensemble where a small number of staff do quite well and in a friendly manner to satisfy customers.

A good Indian in the center of Bologna. Fixed vegetarian/chicken/vegan menu, or à la carte choice. A little expensive. Unexpectedly very exotic and warm atmosphere, at the entrance the place doesn't seem to be that large. I would also return because once you enter you are completely detached from the chaos of the centre.

We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Het eten was subliem!
Leuk interieur. Het zag er schoon uit.
Eigenaar, zoon en neef spraken heel goed Engels.
Een absolute aanrader om in Bologna Indiaas te eten.

In pieno centro, location molto particolare ed ottimo cibo davvero indiano, anche il vino ottimo (Bolognese) e non caro, personale molto gentile, solo all’arrivo il cameriere faceva…..”l’Indiano”. 😉
