We happened to be in Vallo for surgery and we chose to have lunch at the Il Sinodo restaurant. Excellent restaurant, with typical cuisine. We were amazed. We ate very well. Very kind staff. Definitely recommended.

11/05/2025: Best dinner of our Italy trip. Family owned and operated. Cannot recommend this place enough. Food is 10/10 and you cannot beat the view.
06/05/2025: The restaurant is located in a magnificent position overlooking the sea of ​​Positano and is the right stop after the path of the gods. The service is attentive, the dishes good and well presented. I would just suggest putting a placemat, it's annoying to eat on the uncovered table

18/05/2025: Locale caratteristico e accogliente. Cortesi e disponibili in sala. Servizio rapido e accurato. Prezzi nella norma. Particolare e saporito lo spaghettone con cozze e fiori di zucca
12/05/2025: A nice tavern in the center of the town, not too touristy. The pizza is very good, the dough and the ingredients are good. The kitchen has some good dishes, perhaps not too suitable for those looking for pure Cilento tradition but there are still good dishes to try.
