We had dinner tonight for the first time and I must say that we were all very happy with the service, the welcome, the super good food ☺️ very wide selection of wines, the first courses, the meat, the fish, the desserts... spectacular... We were passing by to see the Pontifical Palace and ate here, everything was very good, food and service, and the price was quite acceptable for a tourist stopover site, we were pleasantly surprised.

I ate too much and too well.
When the food is excellent, I can't help but feel bad for myself.

The "Il Grottino" restaurant in Castel Gandolfo has an intimate and welcoming atmosphere: very characteristic. The outdoor area is beautiful, with an enchanting view of Lake Albano. The flavors of each course are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are of excellent quality and incredibly fresh. The rich and varied menu ranges from meat to fish. The staff is very professional: attentive, without ever being intrusive. You feel welcomed, and we will definitely return to enjoy new dishes with other friends. Vincenzo and friends.

Poteva prendere 4 stelle ma il servizio della cameriera assolutamente sbrigativo da pub per ragazzi. Cibo buono offrono aperitivo da bere, cameriere gentile, tavoli con tovagliette di legno da rivedere. Consigliato.

Perfect setting for delicious food and lovely welcoming service. Particularly enjoyed the spaghetti vongole. A great spot for enjoying dinner overlooking the lake.
