Vista incantevole, locale ordinato e pulito, personale gentile ed accogliente, ingredienti ricercati e lavorati sapientemente. Qualità davvero eccellente: i piatti sono ricercati, elaborati il giusto, veramente riescono a trasmettere la tradizione del territorio reinterpretata in chiave moderna. Merita di tornare, e ritornare, e ritornare ancora. Complimenti allo staff ed al titolare!

Excellent lunch, very high quality. Maximum courtesy of the owner. Boxing Day lunch 2024, confirmed for the excellent quality of the dishes. Veranda with panorama from the Portofino mountain to Sestri Levante.

It's already the second time I've been there and I'm very satisfied again, breathtaking view and truly excellent quality food! Price in perfect line with what you eat and what "the house" offers you. Super recommended I will definitely come back again! PS: there are no problems for celiacs, in fact they make everything gluten-free and the frying is crazy.

Never done a review, but the top quality raw material "fish" and the skill in treating it is to be commended! Simple Ombrina, in tartare as an appetizer and plate for a second course, but I repeat, with a commendable result. Furthermore, we were a table of 12... all without a flaw. Too bad it's 300km from home, otherwise it would have become a regular stop! Well done chef and well done everyone!

La Locanda del Monte

25/05/2025: A wonderful Genoese experience! I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant: the food was simply exceptional, with traditional Ligurian dishes prepared with the freshest ingredients and great care. Each course was a small masterpiece of authentic flavors. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, perfect to accompany a romantic dinner or a special evening. A special praise goes to the dining room staff: empathetic, attentive and truly prepared, they were able to make the experience even more pleasant with timely advice and impeccable service. Highly recommended for those looking for a corner of Genoa where they can feel pampered and enjoy the best of local cuisine.
19/05/2025: La Locanda del Monte is a charming place with a breathtaking view of Genoa but away from the confusion. The food is excellent and the staff is kind and helpful. Absolutely recommended.
