A cozy little restaurant just around the corner from the cathedral. Very authentic, the food arrived quickly, and it tasted really good. We had tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and a vegetarian calzone—both delicious.

We ate as a group at this small restaurant near the majestic Siena Cathedral on a rainy day. The environment, as well as the staff, was welcoming and the interiors were adequately heated. Even without a reservation, we were given a table in a raised room practically just for us. The pizza was very good and the other typical dishes very inviting (we tried various fresh pastas). The location is excellent and the value for money is excellent, with the exception of the price of drinks, which is quite high, which is added to the cover charge. I recommend it!

A great find. Unsure why a €3 per person cover in Italy is such a surprise to people from seeing other reviews..! Lovely lunch, pici pasta and a white pizza. Delicious. Very reasonably priced for how close it is to the cathedral. Staff very friendly and quick service.

26/05/2025: Highly recommended! In the heart of Val d’Orcia, one of my favorite places! Excellent food, I recommend the pici, the meat and especially the selection of pecorino cheeses! The added value is certainly the family atmosphere that you breathe. Worth a try, different from the usual tourist-catching places ;)
