Ristorante " Il Conventino " In Calci

It's a place I've known for at least 30 years, isolated, beautiful, all wood and a rustic style that I like (my dad loved it too). Unfortunately, I haven't been for at least 4 years and I found a more limited menu (only 3 appetizers and 4 first courses) and very bland and anonymous dishes (to my disappointment). Then, during mushroom season, no mushroom dishes, and when I asked why, the answer was "just subordination." But if you don't mention it when booking or if it's not written on the website, how can anyone know this? Meh 🙏. Too bad we left a little disappointed. Maybe we just had a bad night.

I've known Il Conventino for many years and have never been disappointed. Excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine and fair prices.

Every time I go there with my partner I relive the real Tuscan cuisine.

Nice atmosphere, good food, fair price

I'd describe the place as welcoming, bright, and easily accessible. The food is truly delicious, and the portions are generous. The prices are truly good for the price, and it's worth it. They also offer various menus, from those that offer a delicious meal without over-stuffing you, to those that fill you up and feel good, to those with a huge stomach who want to indulge. All at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick and precise. I highly recommend this special little place.

Il Conventino, a name with humble origins, shows this not in the cuisine or the service, where with commitment and dedication they demonstrate and convey their desire to pamper you and make you feel good. The food is carefully prepared and cooked to have a unique and delicious flavor that can be savored and appreciated both alone and with friends. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff is admirable and is one of the reasons it's worth stopping here. And the prices? Well, it's called Il Conventino, the food is divine, the service is heavenly... and all this at fair prices; no one works for free, but eating at fair prices is something of a theatrical experience these days. I didn't take photos of the place, but I'll be sure to add them on my next visit.

Secluded, quiet location on a hill overlooking the valley. There's also an outdoor veranda. Excellent Tuscan cuisine.

Hier kann man einen netten Abend verbringen. Gutes Essen, sehr freundliche Bedienung und tolles Ambiente (hoch oben am Berg), abenteuerliche Anfahrt ! Teilweise Sehr enge, steile Straße, aber es lohnt sich

Ottima location, personale molto gentile e preparato, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio anche per cerimonie.
