The place isn't easily accessible, with fairly narrow streets and limited parking. The food quality is average. Prices, however, are above average, especially considering the remote location: three of us ordered an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, two bottles of water, and a half liter of wine, for a total of €120 for three. Not exactly country restaurant prices.

Wonderful restaurant, both for its view and interior. Excellent food and a good value. Good service. The only drawback is the limited parking.

The place is very homely, like the food which is Tuscan, with simple but really well-made dishes.

After a while, we happily returned to Conventino, where we once again enjoyed their classic Tuscan cuisine! Everything was truly delicious, but we especially appreciated the high-quality and plentiful appetizers and the truly delicious desserts, all homemade! The staff was efficient and courteous! We'll be back soon.

The only drawback is the limited parking, so we have to leave the car along the narrow road.

Difficult to get to, the road is extremely narrow and the parking lot, once you reach the top of the hill, isn't very large, but the view is absolutely rewarding, spanning the entire valley all the way to Marina di Pisa.
The place feels like an Alpine cabin, with a fireplace, a wood-burning stove, and wooden finishes, including the roof beams.
The staff is extremely friendly, and you're greeted with a small sample of focaccia, bread fritters, and fried polenta.
The menu is typically Tuscan, with appetizers featuring cured meats and cheese, and first courses ranging from ravioli, paccheri with duck ragù, sliced beef, peposo, suckling pig with porcini mushrooms, and more. The house wine is not bad, a fragrant San Giovese.
The homemade desserts include the deconstructed millefeuille with orange-flavored Chantilly cream and the traditional torta co' bischeri. Generous portions, very good ingredients, and a fair price, around €40 per person.
Recommended even if it's not exactly on the road...
