Ristorante Il Cappon Magro In Bobbio

Abbiamo cenato e pernottato una notte in questo ristorante...locale in generale curatissimo.pulitissimo.personale di sala gentilissimo.menu particolare.non si trovano i soliti piatti ma abbinamenti ricercati.se devo trovare una cosa che non ci e'particolarmente piaciuta sono i dolci.turamisu rivisitato...non ha la solita crema ma tipo una spuma che secondo me c'entra ben poco.e così anche sulla tartelletta...già rimane un dolce asciutto se poi ci metti una spuma anche no!!andrebbero rivisti.poi chiaramente i gusti sono discutibili.il resto tutto perfetto!! Grazie

We went for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Well-kept location, tidy, clean and served by a convenient private car park. The highly refined menu has nothing to envy of that of other starred restaurants in the province, and the courses do not disappoint expectations, on the contrary they improve them. The quality of the raw materials is very high. I am almost a teetotaler but for lovers of wine pairings, the list is truly supplied by bottles of the highest quality. Real compliments to the chef and the staff.

A place with very well-kept environments... I was only there for dinner and I didn't have the opportunity to test the quality of the rooms and the structure itself in terms of the stay. The cuisine is not typically traditional of the place (just over 3 courses on the menu reminiscent of typical local dishes, appetizer of Piacenza cured meats, macaroni alla bobbiese and pisarei and faso') but I would speak more of refined and innovative cuisine... Super appreciated the search for culinary innovation... We took 2 "innovation" tasting menus (fish-based) and a separate starter of the day, namely panzanella. The quality of the food is undisputed, everything is fresh, and there is a marked search for the distinction of the individual flavor in each dish. All really good, just a couple of sore points that prevent me from giving a 5 as a final review. The flavor of the fish, although fresh, was not easily identifiable and in some courses the foams they used and/or ingredients of the individual dish were found to cover what probably should have been the prevailing taste (e.g. spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli with fish). The other less positive note is the dessert... you can't mention the name of Tiramisu in vain if the cream is not cream but foam... For the rest it is highly recommended. Very attentive and friendly service, exceptional location, beauty and good figure guaranteed. Not too recommended as a classic typical place for local food, rather an impromptu corner of Bobbio after being able to enjoy a quality experience and non-trivial dishes. The bill is a little higher than the amount given but I repeat... it's worth it
