In 4-star hotels, we are used to being served a welcome drink during check-in, rather than having to stand next to the reception desk while all your ID details are entered into the system. - The bar with seating in the entrance area is poorly staffed all day. Even in the evening, shortly before dinner, you wait a very long time before anyone even comes to ask if you would like a drink. At a "later" hour (directly after dinner), you feel like an unwelcome guest because the staff would rather call it a night. - At first glance, the hotel makes a modern impression; this is also consistently conveyed on the website. However, as soon as you enter the hotel, you can see from the reception area, hallways, basement, staircase, elevator, and, unfortunately, also the rooms that the hotel is very dated.
