Excellent, warm welcome, delicious food

Lunch with the family at Hanbury Bistrot today. For our first time in Ventimiglia, we received a wonderful welcome and very professional service. We ate the lasagna and the pasta alla carbonara, which were excellent. They also prepared a special dish for our 3-year-old daughter: "cooked vegetables" with lots of flavor. Excellent value for money. The moist chocolate cake with a caramel center and a scoop of vanilla ice cream was incredible for only 7 euros. I highly recommend Hanbury Bistrot.

A delightful discovery! This little restaurant is located in a pedestrian zone in Ventimille, where we had already tried other establishments. The Hanbury Bistrot is very pleasant, with tasteful decor and a friendly welcome. The cuisine and flavors are a bit out of the ordinary and stand out from the classic menus of Italian restaurants. The small fried calamari and vegetables were both crispy and tender in a light tempura-style batter. The gnocchi with lamb ragù were also very tender. A minor disappointment was the dessert: crepes with mandarin cream and white chocolate. Unfortunately, there was only one tiny crepe, and it was served cold. The mandarin cream was good, but the portion was far too small. The chocolate fondant at the next table seemed to be a larger portion. We will nevertheless gladly return.

I really like this cozy place. Menu changes quite often. Dishes are refined and sophisticated, always can try different combinations and flavors.

We both had the Pasta Carbonara for lunch; absolutely fabulous, cooked the proper Italian way with eggs and Parmesan cheese. Great little bistro.

Really nice restaurant with good food and affordable prices. Portions are well served and the taste is really good. If you're passing through Ventimiglia and want to have local and nice experience come here.
