Ristorante Grual - Lefay Resort and Spa In Pinzolo

5,000sqM of spa and treatment rooms are worth the trip. Relatively near Madonna di Campiglio makes it a great sky destination as well. Finally the new, modern but warm construction makes this a wonderful 5 star destination. Cons: Pinzolo is only about 800m from sea level so snow is less common and the town is not wonderful. The starred restaurant is good but the “normal” is a bit aseptic. Staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful although not always 100% professional if you consider the cost (1,000/night during our stay). All and all, one of the most exclusive and relaxing destination in the area.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying here while travelling in Europe around Christmas. From the moment that we arrived, we felt spoiled and at ease. The staff handled our luggage well (which was quite a bit!). We arrived before check-in but we were offered a lovely cranberry drink at the bar while we waited. My daughter quite enjoyed looking at the Christmas decorations there. Once in the room, we found it comfortable even for all of us and our belongings. Our room had a decent sized walk-in closet which helped us from pouring over into the room with clothes. Bed and bath are modern. Room service did an exceptional job keeping everything tidy. Pool area was a key attraction for us and I was glad to find that kids could go at any time. We made frequent use of it. Kids club was also a big hit for my daughter. Restaurants and food are exceptionally good. Staff is very attentive. Despite it being Christmas, there was plenty of availability for the restaurant and spa. I understand that the hotel was fully booked but I will say that you could hardly tell. There is ample capacity for seating and tables wherever you go and the staffing is more than adequate. Connection to the ski resorts around them is a breeze and they make the whole process of renting and taking the shuttle painless. It is really an ideal set up for a hotel that isn't actually on the ski property. Would definitely come back in the future for skiing. Overall, we had a delightful time at the resort and I certainly hope to return.

A very good team who takes good care of me while I'm having a good rest in the resort, everything is well arranged and the atmosphere is superb. I'm looking forward to being back again next time.

The place was fantastic, offering excellent accommodations at a reasonable price. It's a great destination for skiing and hiking, surrounded by a magical natural environment. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. There’s also a small, easily accessible city nearby, adding to the convenience.

Beautiful hotel and spa No criticisms

Our stay at Lefay was simply extraordinary. The entire structure is enchanting, with rooms with attention to the smallest details and particular attention to every aspect, nothing is left to chance. The staff is extremely friendly, always smiling, helpful and highly professional. The attention dedicated to the customer is truly exceptional. The SPA is spacious and the proposed paths are designed to offer maximum well-being. Every environment is impeccable: always clean, fragrant and welcoming, with a staff that is always attentive and ready to satisfy every need. As regards the catering, both at breakfast and dinner, chef Mirko Pistorello and all the dining room staff demonstrated extraordinary professionalism. They handled my fiancée's serious food allergy with great competence, preparing dedicated dishes with extreme care and attention. Every dish I had the pleasure of tasting was superlative: you can clearly perceive the passion and dedication in the choice of ingredients and in the search for combinations. Throughout our stay, there wasn't a single detail that wasn't perfect. An impeccable experience in every respect. Absolutely worth repeating.

A beautiful hotel, but leaves conflicting impressions. Despite the external gloss, the organization of space and attention to detail require improvement. 1. Internal space and logistics •The SPA and pool areas are located on different floors, which causes inconvenience to guests. The swimming pool is located on the first floor, and the SPA area and saunas are on the second. To move between them you need to use an elevator, which creates additional difficulties, especially if the guest is wearing wet swimming trunks and a robe. It's uncomfortable. •The elevator in the main building (lobby, reception, restaurant) is accessible only by card, which is inconvenient for external visitors coming to the restaurant. •Elevators in buildings with numbers are accessible without a card, which reduces the level of security. It would be more logical to do the opposite: provide free access to the elevator in the main building and limit access to the elevators leading to the rooms. 2. Rooms The rooms are decorated very stylishly, but look cluttered. They have too many pieces of furniture (a sofa, two armchairs, two tables and other elements), which creates a feeling of cramping. •The shower stall is too small and the door scrapes on the floor when opened, making it impossible to use a rug near the entrance. •The trash can is located under the furniture. To throw out trash, you have to take out the bin and then put it back, which is inconvenient. • Rooms have poor natural light as large terraces and balconies block the sun's rays. •Artificial lighting is weak. It is impossible to turn on bright lights, which causes discomfort, especially in the evening or when you need to work. •The safe is installed too low, making it inconvenient to use. • The mattress in the room was very hard, which caused discomfort during sleep. 3. Spa area and pool • The SPA area is large, but its structure with many zoned rooms makes navigation difficult, especially for short stays. The pool and SPA area are located on different floors, which is inconvenient. •There are virtually no hydromassage baths. Those baths that do exist and offer bubble massage are extremely ineffective and do not provide a full hydromassage effect. •The lighting in saunas is too weak, which causes severe discomfort for people with poor vision. This is not only inconvenient, but also unsafe, as it makes orientation difficult and increases the risk of injury. •There are no shelves for storing glasses at the entrance to the saunas. •The water temperature inside the pool is warmer than outside, which is illogical. The indoor water temperature should be cooler and the outdoor water temperature warmer to create comfortable swimming in cold temperatures. •The air in the pool room is not warm enough, which makes staying on the sun loungers in a wet state uncomfortable. •The water has a distinct taste of chemicals and salt, which causes discomfort. •The hammam located in the pool area is ineffective due to the too low temperature, which deprives it of the expected effect. •The tiles around the pool are slippery, increasing the risk of injury. 4. Restaurant •Breakfast is good. A large selection of dishes, fresh products and beautiful views from the windows make the morning pleasant. •Dinner was wonderful and the ribeye steak was amazing! The service is also at a high level - the staff is attentive and caring, which added positive emotions to the evening. •Cutlery: Spoons, forks and knives are awkward to use due to their thin and almost round design. They scroll in your hand and are awkward to place on a plate. Conclusions: The main inconveniences of the hotel are associated with design flaws that were introduced at the design stage. These errors limit room for improvement and reduce the overall guest experience. It is noteworthy that the hotel has rooms available, unlike other best hotels in Austria and Italy located nearby, where it is much more difficult to get accommodation. This shows the difference in the level of detail and demand. When designing similar facilities in the future, such aspects must be taken into account. This will not only improve comfort for guests, but also increase business efficiency.

We didn't find many hiking trails, but the path to the waterfall is recommended - Service is generally okay, but you won't find the warmth of South Tyrol here. More of an “Italian” kind
