The high expectations we had for this spa hotel were not met. The hotel's common areas are very welcoming and the staff is very friendly, however, we found numerous flaws that could be improved with a little more attention. First and foremost, the water in the pool and tubs was too cold, so much so that no guests were able to venture in; the spa was too small, especially the relaxation area, which on weekends couldn't accommodate all the guests present: a few more loungers would be enough. The first day we arrived, our room had separate beds, and only the next day (after three requests to reception) did they join them with a sheet, which didn't really solve the problem, as we were sinking in the middle. Finally, the half-board restaurant was good, but the service was excessively slow. We had booked a dinner at their gourmet restaurant, Alpes, a Michelin-starred restaurant (which also features the name Alpes), by email a month in advance. However, once we arrived in the lobby, we were told that it was impossible to dine at the gourmet restaurant they call the "Alpes experience" because our reservation wasn't recorded. So we were redirected to the half-board restaurant, which, while we liked it, hadn't been our initial choice. The website is also quite confusing.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous rooms, and always friendly staff. We used the spa, and the only downside we found was the water temperature in all the outdoor pools, which is cold and doesn't allow for much relaxation. The breakfast is spectacular, with excellent products, but written or verbal information about whether you can also order from the kitchen is needed, otherwise guests won't know. Overall, the facility is excellent, and the restaurant is top-notch.

This hotel far exceeded our service expectations. The owner and every single member of staff were incredibly helpful and customer-oriented! The entire hotel has a charming atmosphere, and you can tell that everything has been done with great attention to detail. We'll be back!

Fantastic hotel with a first-class spa and excellent food. Definitely try the "Experience" tasting menu; it was superb.

This hotel and its staff represent hospitality in capital leters. After a long trip I was greeted by a very friendly owner. The fact I was with a dog was not a problem at all, on the contrary. The room I had was spacious and very nice and clean. The dinner was superb. Too bad I stayed only for one night. I will come back for a longer stay. The hotel is superb

I only stopped for lunch, and it was a wonderful culinary experience. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and the dining room was stunning, in a mountain style, where wood dominates. The dishes weren't classic South Tyrolean, but were very sophisticated, using local ingredients. Top service, compliments to the entire hotel staff.

The facilities are beautifully designed, perfectly blending Alpine atmosphere with modern comfort. Dining was another highlight. Dinner service was impressive - the staff anticipated our needs, responded to every request, and went above and beyond what you'd expect. Breakfast felt like the perfect start to the day: absolutely divine in taste, beautifully presented, and perfectly aligned with the overall concept of the hotel. In short: Bad Schörgau is a gem. From reception to wellness, from dinner to breakfast, every detail contributes to an exceptional stay. Highly recommended.

A beautifully situated house surrounded by nature, offering immediate peace and relaxation. A fabulous kitchen with great attention to detail. Ideal for those seeking relaxation and enjoyment.

The staff is super friendly and very committed to their guests' interests. They are happy to offer tips for excursions and the surrounding area. You feel wonderfully looked after and very comfortable. Allergies and intolerances are immediately taken into account and communicated so that everyone on the staff is aware of them. Our room was beautifully decorated with lots of wood, making it very cozy. It offers everything you need. There is plenty of storage space and a large terrace. The hotel's location near the forest and the entire outdoor spa area are wonderful places to relax and unwind.

We loved the SPA located in the middle of nature. The sauna and whirlpool have a really unique feature. You can heat them with wood 🪵 which gives it a very special kind of heat. The breakfast was really good and you can charge your e-car for free.
