Every time I go to Sardinia, the Golden Gate is a must. Excellent, fresh dishes, a clean and tidy restaurant, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. See you this summer 😉

New Year's Eve Lunch 2026 Pleasant confirmation of excellent cuisine and professional and attentive dining room staff. Excellent menu, with exceptional value. The dining rooms were packed, but both the kitchen and dining room staff were always on point, never in a hurry, a sign of professionalism and coordination. High-quality portions and quality. Fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared. The meal concluded with an excellent dessert. This confirms the excellent opinion I had on a previous occasion. Definitely a recommended place, and one we will return to. ***** Excellent

We started with a simply perfect octopus salad: the octopus was incredibly tender, a sign of masterful cooking, and the seasoning was balanced without overpowering the flavor of the sea. ​Next, the mussel soup was the real surprise: the sauté was fragrant, slightly spicy, and the sauce so flavorful that mopping it up was a must. ​To finish on a high note, we ordered the strawberry millefeuille. The pastry was fragrant and light, the cream velvety, and the strawberries perfectly sweet. The kindness of the staff is definitely another strong point of the restaurant. Everything was perfect and delicious.

A very beautiful and welcoming restaurant, with a quaint and well-kept garden and equally beautiful decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, the service excellent, the food excellent, and the prices reasonable, appropriate for the setting. Highly recommended.

27/10/2025: Cucumiao is the best of the three restaurants we visited in and around Palau. It's true that the menu, with its ten pages, can be daunting and make you wonder about the freshness of the dishes, but we tried several dishes and everything was perfect. I recommend the typical pane frattau dish, which is simply excellent.
