I was there for New Year's Eve for the first time by chance: the typical trattoria environment is welcoming, but in my opinion it needs a bit of updating.
We took the cacciucco (there were 2 of us): I would say that a normal portion was enough for 2 so congratulations on the portions, but I think it's a bit of a waste, but still very good.
Maybe I would have liked toasted bread on the edges of the plate, but adding to the soup is fine given the traditional recipe.
The young waitresses are delightful, good!

We went to a dinner with friends. I am fully satisfied with the quality and quantity of the dishes. All excellent and cooked very well. I particularly appreciated the fried cod. Never eaten so soft and dry

I went to this restaurant for a business lunch. As soon as I entered I was worried given the retro atmosphere and the somewhat novice waiters. But I had a great time, I ate excellent black rice, sliced tuna and tiramisu. Really plentiful dishes.

A historic restaurant in the center of Livorno. Really really good food! We ate the raw, very fresh, the fantastic black rice and of course... the cacciucco, phenomenal!
The lady in the room, very kind, friendly and very good. The super price, for us accustomed to Florence prices, a dream!
We will definitely be back, thanks Gennarino!!!!

Chosen by chance, happy to have chosen this restaurant, excellent food. We chose a trio of first courses (pappardelle with amazing octopus ragout) and spectacular fried squid and prawns, cooked very well and nice and crunchy.

Serata di pesce dove ho mangiato molto bene, il primo (spaghetti allo scoglio ) era davvero buono ed abbondante. Mi era piaciuto molto anche l’antipasto toscano che abbiamo diviso in due. Bella atmosfera e servizio cortese.

Personale molto gentile e disponibile, iniziano a servire la cena alle 18.30, molto comodo se si deve prendere il traghetto. Piatti gustosi e abbondanti come il caciucchino, versione ridotta ma per me sufficiente. Sui 50 eur in 3 bevendo acqua. Buon wifi.
