Ristorante Gasthaus Rose In Montagna

All'Epifania di passaggio per la Val di Fiemme ci siamo fermati presso questo locale in centro paese. Abbiamo chiesto di pranzare nella Stube. Location tranquilla, semplice, pulita in stile rustico sudtirolese. Abbiamo ordinato un brodo con crostini di milza, arrosto di vitello con patate, strudel, semifreddo al cioccolato e menta in vetro, vino, acqua e caffè. Tutto molto buono secondo le ricette tradizionali della cucina contadina sudtirolese. Servizio ospitale, cortese e attento. Prezzi nella media e proporzionati. Parcheggio coperto nella piazza del paese. Ci ritorneremo quando ne avremo l'occasione per un pranzo in ambiente confortevole e tranquillo.

The village of Montan impresses at first glance. The architecturally attractive old houses are a real eye-catcher, and the historic stone stairs that lead to the restaurant speak of times long past. When you arrive at the inn, you can often see groups comfortably playing cards (Watten). Continuing further, you enter a beautiful, wood-paneled room that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is another room hidden behind it. The boss herself stands behind the stove and conjures up excellent dishes - everything fresh and prepared with great skill. The menu is small but of high quality and if a dish is sold out there is always a suitable alternative. Particularly noteworthy is the junior boss Irene, who takes care of the pastries with dedication and creates delicacies that you won't quickly forget. The “Zur Rose” inn is a real gem that the community of Montan can be proud of. It's always a pleasure to come here as a guest - a place where you feel comfortable and receive excellent hospitality.

We love this inn. Locals and guests come here. The menu isn't big, but that's exactly what I love. We like EVERYTHING that comes out of the kitchen. Real South Tyrolean cuisine and sometimes something new is tried out. The service is great and always friendly. We're always happy to come back!

It was very nice to sit outside! The staff was very friendly and quick. The food didn't take long to arrive and was very good. We also really enjoyed the wine and Veneziano! The absolute highlight was the blackberry tiramisu for dessert.

A casual atmosphere with good germanic food. The entrance is tucked away and not obvious unless you are looking for it.
