Mixed experience. Dinner at 10pm. We wanted to try a local spot near the hotel. The restaurant is quaint and nicely decorated. The swordfish was cooked very well and was delicious which warrants a better review. The mixed salad was very lacklustre (sliced carrots, red cabbage and tomato) and I don’t recommend. The main waiter was very inattentive and seemed to take it personally when I requested to sit inside as it was humid and boiling outside. This affected the service and how he treated us throughout the night. We asked for some more water and he never brought any, it was quite uncomfortable. The bill was quite high for what we had almost €60 for a very simple dinner for two and tap water (which is changed for at €2), and from when the waiter handed us the bill he then cleaned the entire indoor area before finally collecting payment from us 15-20 minutes later. The food for the most part was lovely but overshadowed by the poor service and high bill with quite a few extra unexpected fees.

The best restaurant in Livorno!

Good quality food and (not all) tasty preparations. Mediocre wine list. Service could be improved. The result is a slightly higher price than average compared to similar restaurants found in the city, perhaps more commensurate with Northern European or North American tourists who land in Livorno.

Really excellent, well done. Friendly, knowledgeable and kind staff. It felt very good, we woke up full and satisfied. Quality fish. Excellent raw materials Bill slightly higher than what I expected. Starter, first course, dessert and wine around €50 To return again and again. Excellent desserts. Tasty first courses. Well done. The internal environment is well looked after. Outside the street is what it is, but I found it welcoming and clean.

We went to Pino and Gianni for the first time, we left very satisfied for three reasons: First: great food. Second: good service. Third: acceptable price quality. We will return.

The kitchen has created delicious dishes! We arrived half an hour before the afternoon closing time, but that was no problem, very thoughtful of the owner and his kitchen!

I have had the pleasure of dining at "Da Pino" several times and each experience has been excellent. The oysters were served at the perfect temperature, confirming the high quality of the ingredients. Their tagliolini with prawns are very tasty, but the land dishes such as the norm and the caponata are also worth trying, all really delicious. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair considering the freshness and quality of the food offered. I recommend it
