Ristorante Fratelli Salini In Farini

A little tricky to get to from Milan, but it's worth it!

Visited my friend in the village and felt at home in this restaurant. The place, the food, the people, everything is great. It's authentic and delicious, 100% worth it and the best in the area.

Returned after years for dinner with friends. No complaints about the food, the quality is always excellent. When it came time to get the bill, however, an argument with the cashier over how everyone paid ruined a wonderful evening. Having ordered a very expensive rib-eye steak, it didn't seem right to pay "Roman style" and pass the cost on to someone who had only ordered a €9.50 entree. The clerk used decidedly impolite language to express her opinion. It would have been enough to phrase the sentence differently, without huffing or making irritated gestures. The customer isn't always right, but you have to know what to say and how to behave.

The rooms are basic but comfortable for a few days. Perhaps a shower cubicle instead of a curtain would be the best. Otherwise, the food served was generally excellent.

The food is excellent in this place. The town is where my father was born. I've always loved this place.
