Ate very well. Super pampered by the owner. Comfortable, simple and familiar environment. And finally, as a gem, their exquisite herbal bitters are so good that I couldn't resist buying a bottle to take home. Price more than good considering the quality of the dishes.

Montefortino is a beautiful little mountain village. I visited because my ancestors lived here. I walked around the whole village. The only restaurant in town was this very very authentic Italian restaurant. The manager/host treated me extraordinarily well for someone who speaks very minimal Italian, using google translate to communicate. I was the only foreigner in the place and had a great time attempting to speak with the locals. Everyone was extremely friendly and my simple Italian meal was just perfect.

Excellent little restaurant.. a little small but you can eat very well... if you go towards Ambro or Montefortino you are happy to stop... The only flaw is that you have to book because it is very small...

Delicious food for a small price, 35 euros including coffee and dessert for 2 people. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Typical Italian atmosphere, lots of locals.

Nothing to add: you eat well, you drink equally well and you spend little. The staff was very kind and the view of the mountains is spectacular. Highly recommended

Siamo arrivati a Montefortino (bellissima!) dopo una bellissima escursione alla Gola dell'Infernaccio. Nonostante fossero quasi le 15, ci hanno accolti e sfamati. Ottimo e abbondante l'antipasto. Ravioli e tagliatelle al ragù da leccarsi i baffi. Affidatevi ai consigli del padrone di casa! Prezzi assolutamente onesti.
