The tanning polenta is excellent

Good restaurant, close to the sanctuary with convenient parking nearby. Four of us had lunch in the veranda area, smaller but less distracting than the large room. The service was fast, the staff very kind and the dishes plentiful and of good quality. Value for money Optimal.

Always coming back, great food and impeccable service

On 27/12/2024 my wife and I went to the Sanctuary of Oropa, at lunch time, having no indication of where to have lunch we entrusted ourselves to chance, we decided to enter this place, it turned out to be a good choice really lucky because we found truly "super" food and staff. Evaluating "quality-price" a place to definitely recommend. Perhaps some people consider the furnishings a little dated, on the other hand, I think that it is important to eat well and spend the right amount and here we found both things. Compliments

Tra le nevi di Oropa (ieri notte 40 cm!) un caldo e accogliente ristorante dove gustare le tradizioni Biellesi e piemontesi in generale. Non abbiamo assaggiato gli antipasti (ci rifaremo la prossima volta), abbiamo puntato sui ravioli di carne e sulla polenta Concia (ottima!)-. Come secondi cervo e cinghiale con polenta (buoni entrambi) e per finire strudel, crema catalana ma un plauso va alle pere cotte nel vino rosso con gelato alla crema.

Arrivati il giorno dei morti, abbiamo prenotato nel ristorante per la sera 19:30, ho detto che avevamo due cani e la risposta è stata che erano benvenuti. Alla ora della cena , all’ingresso ci è stato detto “buona sera, benvenuti“ già quello è un bel gesto, poi che dire della cena, la polenta concia e non solo. Principalmente devo anche distaccare il servizio, la rapidità che con la quantità di gente che c’era , non ha avuto una pecca! Ringrazio particolarmente Alessia che è stata molto gentile, professionale, attenta. Che dire di più complimenti alla cucina, con un menù corto e molto buono, la polenta concia servita in un piatto fondo da un contenitore con un mestolo, poi il resto del menù dal antipasto della casa al salmi di selvaggina (cervo e cinghiale) esquisto! Siamo andati la sera dopo e per finire la domenica a pranzo. Tantissimi gente ma tutto sempre perfetto, i camerieri sempre con il sorriso e il servizio molto veloce senza trascurare nulla. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Grazie mille ristorante La Fornace. Peccato che non si possa aggiungere più stelle.
