Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and dining area, excellent food, and delicious polenta concia.
However, we had the impression that recently the size of the soup plates (the ones used for polenta) has become smaller than last year, resulting in a smaller amount of polenta per plate. However, they always offer second helpings of polenta.
This place is recommended. Better than others nearby.

The polenta concia was neither bad nor glorious. The venison was decent, very well cooked and tender, but with enough spices to completely overpower the gamey flavor. Grandma's cream and pine nut tart, nothing special, water and coffee for €61 for two, a fair value in any case. The service was good in a place that felt very much like a local club. Given the limited options, considering the location, it's acceptable, but you'll have to settle.

Restaurant located in the beautiful Oropa valley, food quality is average. Beware of the crowded holiday season, as the wait can be long. The atmosphere is excellent.

Located in the upper part after the upper basilica, where you can use the large parking lot. This historic venue, like many in Oropa, offers several rooms and a large outdoor terrace that can be covered and heated. The excellent menu at a fair price offers Piedmontese dishes and a polenta concia (a dish I found to be delicious).

Durante le mie visite al Santuario di Oropa ero stato in tanti altri ristoranti ma mai in questo e quindi dovevo provarlo. Abbiamo iniziato con un misto di selvaggina (cinghiale e cervo con polenta), lumache con patate arrosto e per finire un dessert. Siccome le lumache erano molto buone e non é facile trovarle, abbiamo preso due porzioni da portare a casa.

Ristorante con piatti semplici ma ben curati. Buoni gli antipasti della casa, ottimi i ravioli e sopratutto ottima la polenta concia. Io non sono un amante della polenta concia ma questa la ho trovato molto buona. Prezzi buoni
