This was a great find - wonderful, heart-made food, great clean flavors. We were there after the end of the season, so it was just the two of us and the owner, who cooked for us and then told us about Italian life and culture. Thank you very much! One of the best moments from Italy!

One of the best places to eat fresh fish in Calabria. An authentic restaurant with an owner passionate about Calabrian culture and cuisine. We followed his advice and were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

Traditional seafood restaurant, extremely kind owner, super fresh fish, super reasonable prices. They buy fish from local fishermen every day. I wanted to comment on that person who gave four negative reviews because of an insect while the restaurant is open. Stop getting so worked up over a trivial matter and let the locals work in peace, who are already struggling to keep our culinary traditions alive. Highly recommended. Don't pay attention to the opinions of Jo Jo, or Joseph, or all the other aliases used to denigrate an authentic place that's been open for 50 years.

We had lunch at this restaurant by chance, stopping on the beach in Bova Marina. We found it to be a rustic, no-frills place. We ate two plates of spaghetti with mussels and clams and seafood, a mixed grill, and two lemon sorbets. Everything was simple and delicious, with fresh, well-cooked fish. We were served by a very kind and cheerful young lady, and we paid a fair price after having been to so many exorbitantly priced restaurants recently. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

A historic restaurant located near the sea, it's been around for almost 50 years, and the quality of the fish served is evident. Very friendly waiters, in a simple yet seaside setting.

25/01/2025: La qualità e la cottura dei piatti da 5 stelle. Servizio gentile ma lento. Ordinata una porzione e di cozze/vongole ottime e 2 pezzogne da porzione al forno con patate. Problemi: abbiamo ordinato le pezzogne e ci è arrivato un dentice rosso (peraltro cotto alla perfezione). Abbiamo ordinato una Falanghina ed è arrivato un Vermentino di Gallura (anche lui buono). Dato che i prezzi dei sostituti erano uguali a quelli dei piatti ordinati, non è stata una truffa. Ma allora perché? Forse dato che non c’erano più 2 Pezzogne da porzione come ci avevano detto, ci hanno dato quello che avevano senza dirci nulla? Stessa cosa per il vino? O solo un po’ di cialtroneria anti turisti del tipo:’tanto non se ne accorgono’? Poi il servizio fatturato €9,20, insensato. Insomma, peccato. Buona qualità di cibo rovinata dalla incapacità imprenditoriale della proprietà’
