We went for dinner after the Monterosso festival and I must say that I ate well, a mix of starters including fried pie and very good cured meats, then the sliced meat rare which was really good even if there wasn't the "Potato Millefeuille" which appeared on the menu but rather 2 potatoes and lots of asparagus.
But oh well, it was very good.
What lowered the scores a bit was the waiting time because to eat the appetizers and one course each without desserts we stayed over 2 hours, a little too long.

Osteria located at the beginning of the climb towards the village, with an intimate and suffused atmosphere.
Very good food, both first and second courses, although we were unable to taste some dishes as they were not available.
The only flaw was the service was a little too slow, but we still had a nice evening.
Fair prices, perhaps the wine just a little more expensive than the rest.
Recommended.

Small tavern located in a characteristic street of the medieval town of Castell'Arquato. We took the cold cuts platter with fried gnocco: very fresh and excellent cured meats, very delicate gnocco. As first courses we tried the carbonara with culatello and truffle, onion soup with mushrooms and ricotta, velouté with squid and pisarei and fasö: everything perfect, especially the carbonara. As for the second course, the sliced sirloin with potatoes: here too very well cooked meat. Tiramisu for dessert: good, but almost all cream. I suggest adding a couple more ladyfingers. Friendly and approachable owner. Reservation recommended.

Siamo andati in questo ristorante ieri sera e davvero siamo rimasti contentissimi.
Proprietario e cameriera super gentili e disponibili, alla mano. Atmosfera conviviale e locale davvero carino. Cibo strepitoso. Io sono vegetariana e c'erano validissime alternative anche per me.
I miei compagni di tavolo come antipasto hanno mangiato tagliere salumi con gnocco fritto e io una zuppa di cipolle fantastica!
Poi...vuoi non prendere Pisarei e fasö?!? Top davvero. Una di noi ha preso gli anolini in brodo, anche quelli definiti top. Conclusione dolce con torta di mele, crostatina al limone e passito+sbrisolona....
Davvero super, siamo contentissimi😊
