Ristorante Dortas In Ischia

The pizza was good, the atmosphere a little cold.

An experience to be repeated. Leonardo at the mud baths is a very good person, always ready to satisfy the customers' needs.

Best wood fired pizza we've had in Italy. We had the DOC & added onion garlic & capsicum. Delicious. Highly recommend instead of eating cheap tasteless tourist food. Opens 7.30pm

Dortas was the best restaurant we ate at on our vacation and saved our trip to Ischia. Because this is the problem with Islands: the restaurant clientele is 90% tourists. We ate at many other restaurants on Ischia that varied between bad and mid. On the last night we decided to just walk and walk until we found a restaurant that had mostly Italian people. Well, that was a pretty long walk... But Dortas was full of Italians and the food proved it. Absolutely delicious, everything! All of the waiters from the Mario, to the other Italians, to the Dominicans were so nice. We chatted with all of them and it was a very special night. Back to Naples, we had great Italian food again. But it seems this is indeed elusive on Islands. And the best part, I brought half of my pasta home, yes all the way back to Connecticut, and I'm having it for lunch today. It's even more delicious! Amazing pizza, great service and atmosphere. We wanted a nicer pizza restaurant and this hit the spot exactly.

Not your typical Ilan Italian restaurant because it has Definitely a more modern take on the overall atmosphere, but don’t let that stop you from coming here and enjoying what I thought was probably the best carbonara that I’ve had in Italy so far! I also had a tomato salad that for some would be the most basic thing you could order, but they dressed it and seasoned it perfectly and it was fantastic If I hadn’t had pizza for lunch, I definitely would’ve ordered one of their amazing pizzas so that is something I would highly recommend for you to do !!!

Die Einrichtung ist eher modern. Der gegrillte Octopus (keine Schuhsohle ;-) als Vorspeise war klasse. Die dicken Nudeln mit Ragout als Hauptspeise waren super lecker abgeschmeckt und die Rotwein-Empfehlung spitze. Das Nougatparfait war auch gut...die intensive Schokosauce - die man so zum Garnieren kennt - war hier aber unnötig und zu dominant. Der Service der Kellner war immer sehr flott und aufmerksam und alle sehr freundlich. Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Speisen auf hohem Niveau.
