Ristorante Dorandò In San gimignano

Found by chance, a bit away from the chaos of the historic center. The pici were excellent, as was the cold cuts platter. We had lunch outside under the portico, a great location.

Not sure what others experienced. Pici with Guinea Fowl was divine. Wait staff were engaging and polite. It was fantastic.

My pasta with boar ragout was excellent and my wife liked her tomato crust dish. Pompardelle (sp). A great lunch. More expensive than many other restaurants in town.

I spent 21 days in Italy. This restaurant was the best I ate at in Italy. Amazing. Perfect service. Perfect food. Without a doubt, the best restaurant I went to in Italy.

The lasagna was wonderful, the best I've ever had.

We didn't get any reviews before entering, and I would have preferred other ones. The food wasn't good; the ravioli tasted like nothing more than pasta, and the lasagna wasn't bad but very average. The potato with tomato sauce was delicious. The service was good, but the restaurant lacked atmosphere; very few people, even though the outside space is very pretty. They charge a 10% service charge in addition to the cost.

Good restaurant, well-prepared traditional dishes. Friendly and courteous staff. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.

We went to this restaurant tonight, we ate very well and drank just as well!! The service was attentive and friendly, even for us who had a 4-month-old baby. Recommended!! We'll be back!

Was skeptical after reading reviews . But, we had a great meal (best lamb chops I've ever had) service was very attentive and the surroundings are beautiful (we are outside )
