Ristorante Donna Sofia In Sorrento

The food was good but the service really poor. Waiter not very nice. Not a smile. We had to ask several time for the status of our order and they had forgotten some stuff. They are pouring the wine from a new bottle and not had customer taste first.

Restaurateurs are now divided into two categories: entrepreneurial restaurateurs or passionate restaurateurs, and we in Sorrento are fortunate to still have a few professional restaurateurs. Among those who are professional restaurateurs based on merit and skill, Ristorante Donna Sofia certainly deserves a mention: excellent seafood and meat dishes, a sublime wine cellar encompassing the entire region, fabulous desserts, all topped off with a warm welcome from days gone by, prompt and courteous service, and the friendliness of the owners, Lina and Mario, along with "Donna" Flora, a true hostess who welcomes you with kindness and a wonderful smile, making you feel immediately at ease. Congratulations on the atmosphere you create in your restaurant. Ad maiora semper, thank you.

Mario and his family and his beautiful restaurant Donna Sofia will have a place in our heart ♥️ forever. This family owned restaurant is truly a gem at heart . The passion that they have to create for you one of the most beautiful experiences. Guaranteed you will cherish and appreciate the real culture of Italy 🇮🇹 in the food and in the service and in the atmosphere of this restaurant. So delicious! Steak was some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend! Inside was a little warm during July but worth it for the food.

Impeccable service: kind, attentive, and extremely fast. If you stop for a moment to look at the kitchen team, you'll see a fast, efficient, attentive, and precise cuisine. The dishes are good, traditional cuisine with good value. There are no particularly sophisticated dishes. It's certainly a place that captivates and attracts large numbers of tourists, but it manages to satisfy all needs. All in all, good, and congratulations to all the staff.

Donna Sophia was exceptional I have spent 12 days on the Amalfi coast and this was an elegant and memorable experience. I had the calamari and ravioli amazing. The crowning joy was the tiramisu best I have had on the Amalfi cost and I have had a few. Chef came and welcomed us and was very appreciative of our feedback. Highly recommend and the restaurant itself is beautiful with exposed brick work and amazing terrace. Thank you will be back. MA

Excellente cuisine, mais beaucoup de tables donc trop de bruit pour l’apprécier véritablement eton ne vous adresse la parole qu’en anglais. D’ailleurs quand le vin a fait son effet à la clientèle trop nombreuse, on pourrait se croire dans un pub à Manchester
