The food was delicious and surrounded by Sofia Loren was a true experience. I would have loved to go back but ran out of time.

Food and service were both great, they even gave my mum a treat as we went for her birthday! The live accordion and guitar playing added to the experience. Overall it was amazing and a highlight of our sorrento trip!

Very delicious food. Keep in mind that Caesar salad does not contain chicken. Service is a 3, since we were finishing the drink and they handed us the bill, without having asked for it. The response was that they had other reservations, but we had never been notified about this and we had been there for less than an hour.

Donna Sofia is a very beautiful and unique Italian Restaurant in Sorrento. Our hotel recommended the restaurant during our stay, and the food was amazing! Even though we were a large group, all our dishes arrived simultaneously, and the staff couldn't have been more attentive, making sure we were pleased with all our appetizers and entrees. For anyone visiting Sorrento for the first time like us, I definitely recommend having dinner at Donna Sofia. You won’t regret it. The atmosphere is super relaxing, very large restaurant, fast service and they praise Sofia Loren the iconic Italian actress. Amazing food in a great environment. We stopped here for lunch after two local recommendations. We ordered the gnocchi alla sorrentina and the crabmeat ravioli special. The gnocchi were perfect, I couldn’t stop eating it. The ravioli provided a happiness from food that justifies why the chefs kiss exist. We didn’t get dessert so instead we ordered the pizza verace which was a great example of pizza napoletana utilizing great ingredients. A great representation of the amazing food you can get in Sorrento.

One of our top meals in Italy! Fun decor, top notch service, loved the live music and the food…. Each dish was perfection. Don’t miss the beef carpaccio, mushroom ravioli with fresh truffles, the Donna Sophia pizza (STUFFED CRUST HEAVEN) and the lasagna!

We ate at this restaurant about five years ago and had been dreaming about it ever since. We finally made it back to Sorrento and made sure to eat here again. It was better than I remember! The owner is the waiter and his wife is the head chef and their daughter is the hostess. They are such amazing people and such a cool family run business. But, the best part is the food! The pizza is incredible, and right out of the woodburning oven. We had the shrimp risotto and the ravioli and a few appetizers plus the tiramisu and the lemon sponge cake and it was the best meal we had in two weeks throughout the Mediterranean.

Me and my husband had a delightful lunch at this hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The menu was seasonal with different and more sophisticated dishes on the menu than many of the surrounding restaurants. We were made to feel so welcome by Mario, Lina and the team. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and the food is always outstanding. Thank you for another amazing dining experience, Fabio and Nikki.
