Casa Setaro In Trecase

Finding her in Bologna last week suggested to me a dutiful act for the welcome, commitment and love that Casa Setaro transmits in its work. For me, a Neapolitan living in Parma, it is always special to find "my" flavors in "neutral" areas. I was in this beautiful cellar for the 2022 harvest and I can only speak of it in an excellent way. Their kindness is not second to the quality that can be found in their products. Casa Setaro is an excellence. 61 37, Don Vincenzo and Fuoco Allegro the top. Pietrafumanta anarchic bubble that absolutely deserves a special mention. Great guys, keep up the good work.

What a wonderful find! We showed up without a reservation and were welcomed warmly. We evidently showed up at the wrong location, but the gentleman (maybe the owner?) asked us to follow him in his car to the correct location. That was a wonderful surprise. Once we were there, we weren't sure about the place at first because it looked somewhat like a construction site since they were still working the outside by putting in plants and there was no real parking lot for the cars. Come to find out they have only been there for about 4 months. The inside of the building is beautiful, but more importantly, the unique wines are very good and the pairing of the food is excellent. We felt that we had found a treasure at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius!

Casa Setaro Winery On our recent trip to Italy we had the pleasure of an outstanding lunch complete with accompanying wines at Casasetaro Mount Vesuvius Winery. This was absolutely lovely experience. The food was simple and one of the best meals of our trip. Our driver arranged this lunch after our tour of Pompeii. Having made wines in California for 10 years, I was impressed with all the wines I tasted. My highest complements to the wine maker. This winery has a family feel to it with a friendly happy staff.
