I had heard about it but had never been there. Yesterday at lunch I enjoyed an intense experience, made up of scrupulous attention from the owner, courteous and impeccable service, and then an astonishing quality of food, made of high quality local ingredients and excellent cuisine. A true sensorial emotion. Compliments!

The venue is made up of different environments, an indoor room and several outdoor rooms surrounded by greenery and well-kept without being too demanding. The staff was well-trained, we were served by a Ukrainian boy Diegor (sorry if it's not spelled like that) who in my opinion chose to do a job made for him, congratulations! Let's take a look at the menu. We took the mixed starter which truly contains every type of Calabrian and non-Calabrian delicacy: cured meats, cheeses, aubergine meatballs, bran peppers, potatoes and peppers, parmigiana, courgette flowers and so on and so forth, then we continued with a first course with sheep's sauce, for the second course I took a cut with cheese and nduja, my companions cut stracciatella and chopped pistachios and grilled caciocavallo. Even though it was challenging, we finished almost everything because it rarely happens that we eat something so homemade and genuine. Highly recommended!

Il locale è composto da ambienti diversi, una sala al chiuso e diverse sale all'aperto immerse nel verde e curate senza essere troppo impegnative. Il personale preparato, a noi ci ha servito un ragazzo ucraino Diegor (scusa se non si scrive così) che a parer mio ha scelto di fare un mestiere fatto per lui, complimenti! Pessiamo al menù. Abbiamo preso l'antipasto misto in cui veramente c'è ogni tipo di leccornia calabrese e non: salumi, formaggi, polpette di melanzane, peperoni cruschi, patate e peperoni, parmigiana, fiori di zucca e chi più ne ha più ne metta, poi abbiamo continuato con un primo al sugo di pecora, per secondo io ho preso una tagliata con cacio e nduja, i miei commensali tagliata stracciatella e granella di pistacchi e caciocavallo alla piastra. Anche se è stato impegnativo abbiamo finito quasi tutto perché, raramente, capita di mangiare così casereccio e genuino. Consigliatissimo!

I've known this place for years.
When I go to Diamante, I almost always come here to eat.
Typical cuisine, with "mountain" dishes.
I find tasty, genuine dishes, excellent raw materials, care in preparation and courtesy.
