Ristorante dell`Ostello Ortensi In Farnese

The rooms are simple and very clean. In the restaurant we ate very well, everything was very good and well priced. But what stands out most is the good treatment we received, they have been very friendly and helpful.

My experience is based only on catering. I went to eat at the Ortensi hostel on August 15th and it was a wonderful discovery. Dishes with fresh and quality raw materials, also very well plated. The girl who served us was quick and friendly. I'll be back soon

Excellent cut, impeccable service

I'm writing about the restaurant, not the accommodation. (I live in Farnese and rarely stay in hotels here ;-)) First of all: A nice garden, lots of space between the tables - it's not noisy. A big advantage in Italy. There is also plenty of space in the beautifully designed interior. And then: Lucia. The head of the house and the head chef. A young woman with a warm charisma. Lucia's mother is Cape Verdean, her father is Italian. You can also notice this in the kitchen. You can feel that the cooking here is Italian, with regional ingredients - but not the almost always good, but still typical, home cooking. No, Lucia goes a little further, you can feel her desire to experiment, her creativity - and all of this at normal, by no means overpriced prices. (Which also applies to the wine selection.) Overall: The small town of Farnese is becoming a paradise for gourmets. How nice! Grazie mille! P.S. Not unimportant either. Very kind owner, sweet, affable, clean place, amazing dishes, bags not exactly handy to get there but I must say that the atmosphere is really delicious, we ate and spent the right amount of food, really well looked after, I must say that I will go back to eat the second courses that we didn't take on the advice of the owner who advised us to her disadvantage not to take them because the first courses were plentiful very nice everything to visit
