Ristorante dell'Hotel Villa Angela In Taormina

Really wonderful stay at the Villa Angela. This hotel sits near the church and castle at the top of Taormina. As far as I can tell, there are no compromised views from any room, and the views are spectacular. We spent three nights in a standard double room and three in the Etna Suite. Unless you need the extra space, the view is about the same and the standard double is plenty big. The walk to and from Taormina is twenty minutes straight up and down, but the hotel has a shuttle that runs about every half hour, at a cost, but way less than a taxi. Service was above average and breakfast was probably the best we've had after ten weeks in Europe. The restaurant is good, but hit or miss if it's fully open in the evening. Just a side note, the hotel is owned by the front-man of the band Simple Minds for any of you kids of the eighties. Has to be one of the best hotels for the money in Taormina.

Can’t speak highly enough of the staff, the location and the hotel itself. The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and their assistance in recommending excursions was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

This is the best accommodation for the price during your trip to Sicily. The staff is friendly and the conditions are very good for a 4-star hotel. There is a shuttle bus to downtown, which is very convenient. This is a place I want to stay again when I come back to Taormina.

Well located hotel, clean on all levels. Very friendly staff, pleasant and relaxing swimming pool. Prices at the restaurant and bar are fair. The only downside is that the parking lot is not big enough and if the hotel is full this could be a problem. There is a shuttle (paid) to go into town. Nevertheless, we will return and we recommend this hotel.

I am lucky to have stayed at Angela. Although I made a mistake and had to shorten the number of nights I stayed in a good room, I was able to stay in a standard double room for 2 days, making it the perfect ending to my trip to Sicily♡ This hotel was the best value for money among the 7 hotels in Sicily bundled this time. I was worried because it was a 4 star rating, but it was really friendly and clean!! And a wide view!!! It's the best. I stayed at a hotel right next door with a similar view that cost twice as much, but Angela is the best. front. Shuttle driver.
