We stayed at the hotel as a group of six. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean. The spa area was fantastic, the breakfast very good, and the dinner perfect! There was a free ski bus to Kurzras, and to our surprise, there was even free cake with afternoon coffee! A hotel we'll definitely return to!

Hotel Gerstgras – Amazing Stay! We came to this hotel from Lithuania, 1800 km away, based on recommendations from friends who had stayed here before – and we definitely do not regret it! In fact, everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and you can really feel that this is a family-run business that truly cares about quality. The food is outstanding – a solid 10/10! Dinner is especially enjoyable, with a different set of 5 dishes served each evening. We looked forward to dinner every night, and the whole process is a joy – sitting for hours at the table with family, chatting, and enjoying delicious meals. The slopes nearby are also fantastic. The trails are fun, and most importantly, there aren’t many people around. Sometimes you find yourself skiing completely alone down the mountain, which was a wonderful surprise and something we haven’t experienced anywhere else. Our holiday here was absolutely perfect, and we give the hotel the highest possible rating. If you’re considering coming here – don’t hesitate, it’s definitely worth it! You get so much for your stay.

We stayed there at Easter 2025 and we absolutely loved Hotel Gerstgras!!! The sauna area is simply wonderful, and the service and food are outstanding. Not to mention the fantastic shuttle service to the glacier cable car with Johnny. Highly recommended!

I was last here in 2011. Since then, it has undergone extensive renovations, but the balance between tradition and modernity hasn't been completely achieved. Nevertheless, it's a good hotel with first-class service and good cuisine in a wonderful setting, albeit in a remote location.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel at the end of August, two families with teenage children. The hotel has everything you need: a pool, a hot tub, and a lovely spa. The breakfast was good and complete, as was the dinner, with good quality and variety. The staff was helpful. There's also a games area with ping pong, billiards, and foosball. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is the lack of a bidet, which, given the hotel's recent renovation and the spacious bathroom...it wasn't a bad thing...since a bidet is a VERY USEFUL feature! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Perfect for hiking without having to use your car.
