Having been loyal customers of the Solea Dolomiti for a few years, we decided to make a change and try the new opening. The facility is very impressive and well-designed, and the room was very nice, clean, and had a wonderful view. The spa was beautiful but in need of modernization, especially the Turkish bath. The only downside was the water temperature in the two pools, which was incredibly cold. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were practically unusable and, for this very reason, perpetually empty; a real disappointment for a hotel of this caliber. Despite having frequented many spas, we've never encountered temperatures this low. The food was good but could be improved, especially the breakfast and lunch buffets. (The plain rice was also a no-no.) We were probably unlucky, having arrived on the last weekend before the seasonal closure, which wasn't communicated when booking, and we couldn't even use the facility on the day of check-out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The potential is high, but there's still some way to go to achieve excellence.

There's nothing you could want for. The entire staff is super friendly. The entire hotel is well-maintained and clean. The food is exceptional. I'd go back anytime.
