A great find! On our way back from Matera, we stopped here for lunch, featuring a lovely platter of local products, including cured meats and incredible cheeses. Bruschetta with cherry tomatoes was delicious, along with the house rosé wine. The very friendly owner sat down with us to chat.

I stayed at the Agriturismo for five days for work. Despite the short notice, the owners were incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are very comfortable, the service is excellent, and the location (for the work I had to do) is perfect.

Capitati in zona durante un viaggio di trasferimento, abbiamo voluto provare questo ristorante a discapito di altri che già conoscevamo nel territorio di Ascoli Satriano. Ne è valsa la pena, in quanto abbiamo mangiato bene ed in abbondanza, pur scegliendo il menù fisso di minor costo: cucina locale e servizio all'altezza. Cortese il proprietario e molto gradita la simpatica presenza di animali da cortile (galli, galline, gatti...). Da tornarci.

Trattoria La Cantinella

02/11/2025: A wonderful discovery, I came to San Severo to visit loved ones at the cemetery and stopped one day and, on the recommendation, we had dinner in this well-kept little place. On the advice of the very kind owner, we tried two appetizers, a very delicate first course for two (sedanini with peas, mushrooms and bacon, then a glazed roast with potatoes and two local sweets). As for the wine, as I don't drink much and am the only one, I had a glass of Troia (fragrant). A place to recommend!
11/10/2025: I was passing by and was really struck by the name La Cantinella, the beautiful atmosphere accompanied by relaxing music. Excellent food, I recommend it to everyone.

06/10/2025: Good quality pizza! Friendly staff. We received excellent help choosing even though we don't speak each other's language. Fast-food restaurant atmosphere. We'll be back.
03/10/2025: This is what Italy should be like: excellent pizza and paposcia, all from a stone oven. Friendly and attentive service. It's buzzing with locals who come here to buy their food or stop for a drink. Highly recommended, great value for money.
