When we booked the place, we were given the option to add dinner. Since we didn't know exactly when we would arrive, we didn't add a meal. On the way there, about three hours before we arrived, we called to ask if we could still order a meal. Katya, the lovely landlady, said no problem, they would wait for us. To be honest, we didn't understand exactly what she meant. It turns out that dinner is served to the guests along with the whole family and everyone was waiting for us to arrive. The food is food that Katya and her family grow, produce, and cook entirely themselves. Needless to say, everything was excellent. Katya, who speaks English, has a lot of knowledge and familiarity with the area and a lot of goodwill to help in everything she can, including driving us to different points.
When we expressed interest in cooking, she invited us to join her in the kitchen and we prepared a meal for everyone together. We have no doubt that just as she opened the kitchen to us, we could have joined in any other activity that takes place on the farm - milking, picking, etc.
The room we slept in is actually a Crown with a small bedroom, sitting area and kitchenette. There is no air conditioning in the Crown and for those who suffer from colds it is less pleasant in the cold months. Also, there are no cooking or eating utensils in the kitchenette.

An experience beyond my wildest expectations... it left a lasting impression on me. I carry with me the smiles of the people I met here, who conveyed such serenity. A place that has no time or dimension, other than the one every traveler carries within.
