Strolling along the Licata seafront, a busy boating area, we stumbled upon the sign for the "DE GUSTIBUS" restaurant and decided to go in, without asking too many questions. The restaurant isn't large, but it's bright and tastefully decorated. We were greeted by a young man who was professional and helpful. Just browsing the menu, we knew we'd chosen something truly special. The offerings included meat and fish, both appetizers and main courses, fortunately limited in number, with highly personal combinations and ingredients created by a great chef. "Capocollo morsels," "shrimp with salad, artichokes, and house mayonnaise" to start, "spaghetti with sardines," and "risotto with white meat" to finish. Simply put, everything was TRULY EXCEPTIONAL! We were then treated to a fortified wine of their own invention, along with four small sweet treats, having unfortunately had to forgo a house dessert from a selection that, just reading about it, only made our mouths water and sparked intense gastronomic interest. Their great chef gave us a delightful "table visit," and we didn't miss the opportunity to offer him hearty compliments. Last but not least, incredibly competitive prices! ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE MISSED!

We had dinner at De Gustibus and it was a fantastic culinary experience! We received a very warm welcome, and the chef took plenty of time to explain the dishes and offer suggestions. All the dishes were beautifully presented, of excellent quality, and absolutely delicious. Everything was prepared creatively and with great passion for cooking! This restaurant visit was a culinary highlight of our three-month stay in Sicily, and we will certainly be back.

A simply exceptional experience at De Gustibus! From the very first moment, we were greeted by impeccable service: the waiter was extremely kind, attentive, and always smiling—truly 10-star. The chef deserves special praise: exquisite dishes, meticulously crafted and with extraordinary flavor. Each course was a true delight, with quality ingredients and a cuisine that captivates from the first bite. The value for money is excellent; it's hard to find better. Delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and customer service that truly makes the difference. A restaurant I highly recommend and will return to very soon. Generous dishes, prepared with great care and predominantly fish-based. The average price range is around 18 euros per dish. Compared to other restaurants with similar prices, the dishes are more refined in taste.
