06/03/2025: Vecchia Osteria Del Gelsomino – a real Italian feast in the heart of Rome While in Rome, I had the opportunity to visit Vecchia Osteria Del Gelsomino, a hidden gem near the Vatican. This place captivates with its authentic atmosphere - friendly and family-friendly, which makes you immediately feel at home. I ordered Bucatini all'Amatriciana and Rigatoni Alla Gricia - both dishes were perfectly prepared, full of traditional flavors and perfectly seasoned. I also chose a carafe of white wine, which went perfectly with the meal. For dessert, I tried tiramisu, which turned out to be an absolute hit - light, creamy and delicious! The service was extremely cordial, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was conducive to long, unhurried conversations over delicious food. The quality of the dishes definitely exceeded my expectations, and the prices were fully adequate to what I received. If you are looking for a place where you can feel the true spirit of Italian cuisine, Vecchia Osteria Del Gelsomino is the perfect place. I definitely recommend it!
