Intrigued by the excellent reviews of this restaurant, I finally decided to go with my wife to see for myself. Well, to the almost unanimous chorus of praise, I'd like to add my own. We truly felt at home in this establishment, which, in Fregene, certainly has no competition. The atmosphere is serene and welcoming, the decor is meticulously curated, the De Chiara brothers' unparalleled expertise, and, last but not least, the dishes are expertly prepared and of excellent quality, without neglecting a touch of aesthetics, which never hurts. Among the dishes we sampled, also on the owner's recommendation, were the excellent tagliolini with fish ragù and the perfectly fried monkfish with onions. Also noteworthy was the grilled amberjack steak, whose perfection I discussed with the chef to try and unravel his secrets. Finally, the Anthium wine from Casale del Giglio, one of Lazio's most prestigious wineries, deserves a mention. We are very satisfied with this culinary experience and are sure to return soon.

I think it is the best restaurant in Fregene, local quality food, very clean and quiet atmosphere, from fish to meat, everything is excellent, fresh homemade pasta.

We have a group of 7 visiting from Canada. Got here a bit early before they opened and they sat us down any how. Food was really good. Each of us had something different and every one was very pleased. Steak was really good. Never had pasta that fresh before. Seems to be a family run business with a dad and 2 sons . They were some of the nicest people we met in Italy this trip Highly recommended making a stop here

If you want to be where the locals go, definitely try this place out! Food is very tasty served with pride and a smile by the chef and owner. Very authentic for sure! Best food ever and this is at the end of a two week vacation in Italy!
