Dinner during the week, reservation for two. It was a super enjoyable evening. The food and the atmosphere are top marks, warm and welcoming with a fireplace and well-furnished rooms. The waitress was very kind and attentive to everything, taking our jackets, helping us choose each course on the menu, which was rich but not confusing. Not too many dishes but well chosen and presented. The ones we got: exceptional. Like duck breast or little guitars with ragù. Plus all the little samples that the chef presented to us as a welcome, lentil cream, risotto with parmesan cream... and the appetizers. At the end of the evening we said that we were there to celebrate our anniversary... well, surprisingly they brought us a delicious carrot cake with a lit star, plus they wanted us to taste their homemade ice cream (a gem)... not to mention the buffet of sugared almonds and sweets at the end. An experience I would do once a month. The staff were attentive, friendly and very kind. The price? very honest, not what you might expect from a restaurant like this. I vote TEN!

We were largely satisfied: everything was perfect, from the location to the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. We had the artichoke lasagna, tagliolini with meat sauce and octopus; the dishes largely met our expectations and the quality/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended and I will definitely return when I pass through Varese

A welcoming location in Lombardy where you can savor typical dishes but with a touch of unique personality... excellent duck and prawns. Staff very attentive to every need, not intrusive. Everything perfect. Excellent value for money.

Ci ha entusiasmato tutto, cibo, location, servizio. Qualità davvero ottima con prodotti freschi e piatti curati. C’è molta scelta, noi abbiamo optato per il menu con piatti al tartufo, un piacere per il palato. Da Venanzio diventerà sicuramente una nuova metà per deliziarci il palato.

Cosa dire....semplicemente fantastico, il cibo l'ambiente, il personale e l'atmosfera che si respira in questo ristorante storico dove riuscire a trovare posto non è così scontato, e ci sarà un perché. Il perché è molto semplice, le prenotazioni per pranzo o cena occupano praticamente l'intera pagina di calendario e quindi bisogna muoversi con largo anticipo se sì vuole provare un esperienza così unica di sapori e tradizione. Difficile trasmettere tutto questo scrivendo una recensione...andateci e provate...ne resterete piacevolmente soddisfatti.
