Very good Roman trattoria, artichoke alla giudia, a little small but good, really excellent carbonara, strozzapreti with bacon and artichokes, good. To finish, a mix of homemade Carnival desserts, super cream puffs.

The food was good, but some orders got lost. When they arrived, some were incorrect. To accommodate everyone at the table, some items arrived not very hot. However, it's one of the few places where you can find special gluten-free or vegan dishes. Recommended.

Hands down, one of the best osteria I’ve ever eaten (as a Roman). Roman traditional dishes, at very honest prices. Super friendly staff and family atmosphere. Super recommended, also from my friends that were there.

I wanted to thank both Massimo and Marco Marcello and his staff for this wonderful day truly from God starting from the Roman appetizer, you have two first courses and that beautiful mixed meat platter and as a final touch the Maritozzo with cream, thank you truly from the bottom of my heart ❤️ Maura and Stefano

We had lunch for two at this family-run Osteria, serving excellent traditional Roman cuisine.
We had a starter of pappardelle with hare sauce, exceptionally delicious, and the strozzapreti with artichokes and bacon, delicately flavored and scented with Roman mint, both equally excellent.
For our main course, the legendary coda alla vaccinara, incredibly soft and flavorful, and the boiled meatballs.
The house red wine paired perfectly with the courses!
A special mention for the artichoke alla giudia, simply perfect!
To round out these superb courses, we sampled the desserts: zuppa inglese, a top-notch Italian trifle, and tiramisu, a runner-up.
The host, Mr. Massimo, who guided us through the entire selection of dishes, proved to be very knowledgeable and a keen connoisseur of the various specialties.
We will definitely be back and I recommend trying it; you won't be disappointed!

If you're looking for a place that doesn't just talk about tradition, but lets you experience it firsthand, then visit Pelliccione restaurant in Genzano di Roma. It's more than just a restaurant, it's a true embrace, a refuge where time slows and the flavors are powerful, honest, and incredibly warm. Those who appreciate authentic cuisine, the kind that speaks of family and history, will find their sanctuary here.
The excitement begins even before the menu: the caves, open to visitors, are the ancient heart of the restaurant, a fascinating immersion in the land of Genzano that makes every bite a profound connection with the region.

Authentic Roman cuisine as it once was.
In addition to the usual matriciana, pajata, gricia, cacio e pepe, etc., you can also find mezze maniche with oxtail sauce!!!
For the rest, you'll be spoiled for choice.
The atmosphere is more than friendly.
Perfect for a fun evening, ending with excellent desserts made by Massimo.
A must-try.
