Good Roman-style food in a classic rustic tavern, with excellent Roman-style artichokes, specialties like beef tongue in cold green sauce, and of course pasta and other Roman classics. Fast and friendly service. With house wine and coffee, expect to pay around €30 per person.

A typical Roman trattoria, the food is good and the place is welcoming. When I want to eat some "primo ignoranti" (literally, "ignorant"), it's my go-to restaurant.

They welcomed me warmly, and I didn't have to wait long. Excellent food, extremely friendly service. I highly recommend it. I ate divinely. Thank you for your hospitality. If I ever return to Rome, I'll definitely come back to eat at your place.

Excellent, authentic, and varied Roman cuisine. The service is smooth and friendly. The atmosphere is warm, aesthetically pleasing, and welcoming. It's a strategic location, close to the city center, the Lungotevere, and the Janiculum Hill. One of the few restaurants in the city center that hasn't conform to the masses' demands by serving out-of-the-box, anonymous tourist dishes, but has maintained a strong connection to Rome and its culinary tradition. I love coming back here because I feel at home. These days, it's increasingly rare to find places like this in Rome, authentic and strongly rooted in their identity.

I can only give five stars to Da Massi. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was truly Italian. A lovely, authentic Roman restaurant, highly recommended when visiting Trastevere.

Roman-style gnocchi are among the few officially on the menu in restaurants in Rome. The staff is genuine and friendly, the first courses are generous and well-seasoned, and the artichokes are excellent in every way.

08/01/2026: One of the best restaurants in Rome I've ever tried! The food was stellar, the service was courteous, attentive, and unobtrusive. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for dinner for two, and it's not noisy. I really enjoyed my stay, and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I'll definitely be back! Reservations recommended.
