Excellent food, focaccia 🔝authentic flavors and not at all touristy! I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat in Trastevere!

What can I say, an exceptional experience I ate in the typical Roman trattoria, I really have to compliment you on what I ate. As for the friendliness and helpfulness of the waiters, another more than positive note. I will definitely want to be a guest in this place again on my next trip to Rome.

Damassi was yet another disappointment in Rome for us. I do not think that they are comparably worse than any other restaurants in the neighborhood. It is just that the food quality is very mediocre and it is almost impossible to find really tasty food in Rome. The entire culinary culture seems to be destroyed by zombie-tourism which consumes anything it finds and celebrates mindlessly. We tried gnocchi and I can cook better sauce on an ordinary day for lunch, even though they were handmade. However, at least their prices were modest compared to other restaurants which do not offer any better quality but charge more. Salad was also very poorly prepared and we had to put the dressing.

Amazing food!!!! Different taste from any other restaurant we ate at. Very authentic- only thing is you have to wait at least 40 minutes for the food …

Ottima esperienza anche per il servizio in questo frequentato ristorante di trastevere: prenotate! Ottimo carciofo alla giudia (7€), le fettuccine ai carciofi (14€) e i saltimbocca (16€), molto morbidi. Gnocchi alla romana buoni (13€) ma un po’ troppo secchi. Dessert ottimi(7€), si consiglia il tiramisù. Calici ottimi (6,5€). Torneremo

Cucina al pari della simpatia. I tonnarelli alla gricia sono mondiali. La cacio e pepe a livelli alti alti. Prezzi onestissimi

11/02/2025: Excellent place with typical Roman cuisine. The carbonara was perfect with very rich cream and a noticeable amount of pepper (which I really liked). Among the appetizers, the white parmigiana is noteworthy, very creamy with lots of mozzarella. And I must also mention the pistachio tiramisu, the cream of which was incredible. The only thing is that I would replace the biscuits with ladyfingers
08/02/2025: Everything is excellent! We ordered a carbonara and cacio e pepe, for desserts pistachio tiramisu! Very good attention. Super recommended!

09/02/2025: Exceptional, we had a stroke of luck a table was cancelled, I advise you to book especially on Sunday with the market next door, extraordinary cuisine a warm welcome, very nice waiters who speak French, quality of service and really good products a must if you are in this area I would have put even more stars if it was possible. I will come back with great pleasure
