10/12/2025: A streetside restaurant, elegant and overall with a good menu. The service lady is very helpful and attentive to making guests feel at ease. A positive experience.
11/08/2025: Two colleagues and I dined here, enjoying delicious seafood (sautéed clams, mixed fried fish, fried anchovies, battered cod, mussels and beans, and spaghetti with clams—the dish is called the Blue Flag and is for two). We drank reasonably well (Falanghina, limoncello, and meloncello). A wider wine selection would be great. The kindness of the dining room staff is noteworthy. Franco, the owner, is very attentive, as are the servers, Anna in particular, who is extremely kind and gracious.
Without being intrusive, they ask if everything is going well. We appreciated the gesture.
It's not a luxury restaurant, but it has a convenient parking lot next door, so you don't have to leave your car on the Domiziana. The price is very reasonable. With a platter of six different courses and a generous portion of pasta, wine, coffee, and a digestif, it's around €40-45 per person.
There's a large indoor dining room and an outdoor area overlooking the sea. Update: We returned to Dafne for both lunch and dinner, and I can't help but say that we still had a great time. The pizza has improved significantly, both in terms of cooking and ingredients; perhaps it was just a blip along the way.
