Genuine food, all good and tasty, I recommend it

A great place to spend pleasant Sundays and days with friends! The food is good and the price is right. Cosimo and his wife have been managing the kitchen and dining room for 50 years and are a guarantee.

Cosimo's is a guarantee of quality and quantity. I've eaten there twice, before summer and in mid-August. Both times I've found the quality and friendliness to be excellent. The only downside for me is that it's quite far from where I live; otherwise, I'd come back more often.

I'm writing this review as a hiker who hiked the Brigand's Path with friends, starting from Gambarie. The host, Mr. Cosimo, is unparalleled in kindness and courtesy, welcoming five grieving hikers and three dogs, and offering us an aperitif upon arrival. Dinner and lunch the next day were delicious, with an antipasto beyond reproach, both in terms of quantity and quality. Considering the hospitality of other places we encountered along the way, Cosimo and his staff stood out for their friendliness and excellent prices (they offered breakfast and lunch the next day). Highly recommended for those hiking the Ciclovia or the Brigand's Path.

The food was good, but not cheap. The service was inattentive; they took the wrong order, bringing a few extra dishes. It wasn't much, but it still came to €30 on the bill (it was a main course). They also made a mistake with the desserts... I repeat, the food was good, but I don't think I'll return. A full menu, from appetizer to dessert, cost about €60.

Quality food, excellent prices, quiet atmosphere, but a few too many flies that can no longer escape into the dining room because of the mosquito nets.

Stop for an appetizer, in the heart of Aspromonte, restaurant in Canolo new, typical "80s style", as for furnishings, with a very large internal room and outdoor space. Friendly staff... menu of the day with a choice of variations.

We had dinner and breakfast at Cosimo's during our tour of the Calabrian cycle path. They were very kind and helpful; the restaurant was open just for us, so we even had the chance to chat and learn about the area through Cosimo's passionate words. Thank you!

A beautiful establishment in the heart of Canolo, beautifully nestled in the mountains. The food is excellent, and the service is truly excellent. I stumbled upon this place by mistake, and was also able to take advantage of the accommodation.
