Found by chance on the main road leaving San Vito, excellent service, very kind owner and staff, good food, quiet environment, worth trying, top 🔝

We spent an evening with excellent food in a very welcoming environment and a kind and super helpful staff. A restaurant that I would definitely recommend! Compliments to the chef Roberto for the delicious dishes, to the waiter Peppe, the wonderful owner and all the staff. We will definitely be back

The food was very VERY salty, the waiter's joke "tip is not included in the bill" was not appreciated.

Typical restaurant with a beautiful Sicilian atmosphere, welcoming and well-kept. As soon as we sat down, they welcomed us with their typical bruschetta with Trapani pesto and super crunchy and truly delicious bottarga. We ordered the house appetizer with fresh fish, followed by a trio of first courses: widow allegra with mixed seafood, tagliatelle alla Colapisci (my favorites!) and ricotta ravioli with mascarpone cream and tuna eggs. And to finish an almond parfait. Well-kept place, relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened (around 7:15 PM), so it was quiet with just one other table occupied. We started with the mixed fish antipasto. Unfortunately, although the waiter didn’t seem particularly busy, he simply placed the dish on our table without explaining the components—we had to ask. We also tried the trio pasta, which was just okay. The ravioli was my favorite—quite salty, but still flavorful. The highlight of the meal was the grilled calamari, which was fresh, full of flavor, and expertly prepared. Overall, though, we found the food underwhelming compared to other places we visited in Sicily, and the service didn’t impress. The waitstaff seemed much more engaged with Italian-speaking guests, which made us wonder if there was a language barrier. Maybe we just had an off night, but we wouldn’t return to find out.

Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable waiter both in the dining room and in the kitchen. Good dishes and good wine. The chef also cheered us up with a bit of baritone singing during dinner, so top! Large and quiet room. The only flaw: the price.

The cuisine of this restaurant tells the story of Sicily with elegance and passion. Each dish celebrates the territory faithfully, but does not lack a creative touch that surprises with balance and taste. "The Merry Widow" is a perfect example: an original, well-thought-out dish that remains memorable. And the cassatella with ricotta, fragrant and rich, is an authentic embrace of tradition. Warm atmosphere, attentive service and sincere flavors make the experience unforgettable.
