I ate there on a Sunday, in a gazebo with a lot of people. Simple place. Slow service, unmotivated staff. All the food was good except the dessert.

Have had lunch here 2x, good quality, taste and price. Packed on the weekend but not too bad during the week. Service can be a bit slow.

You can eat whatever you want, always full, reservations are required on Fridays, only fish.

The hotel itself is discreet: clean rooms, basic furnishings, and tidy but unfussy common areas. Nothing luxurious or particularly memorable from an aesthetic standpoint, but everything works as it should. Ideal for those seeking a comfortable and quiet base, without too many expectations. The real strength, however, is the staff: always smiling, helpful, and ready to help with any request. Whether it's local tips, small extra needs, or simply a sincere chat at the reception, they manage to create a welcoming and family-like atmosphere that is more valuable than many 4-star establishments. The breakfast is simple but good, with basic options, both sweet and savory. The overall housekeeping is also good, punctual every day. In conclusion: a property without great pretensions, but one that wins you over thanks to the humanity and helpfulness of its staff. Sometimes, that's exactly what makes a stay special.

We stopped on our way back from Puglia to take a break from the long journey to Piacenza, for one night, in an area in the hills of Ascoli Piceno. Cubanito was the revelation of the holiday. Finally, after two weeks of vacation, we found the renowned Italian hospitality again. We felt at home and ate so much and so well. All traditional dishes with truly generous portions, attention to customer service and friendliness that we so missed on this holiday, previously. Let's just say that to eat well in Puglia, we had to go to the Marche! I also thank you for your willingness to prepare 1.5 kg of olives (spectacular and homemade) for us to take to the Piacenza area. We will definitely be back, even if it's not very close.
