Definitely welcoming, very characteristic atmosphere.. exceptional dishes, very good cold cuts and cheese platter.. delicious bourguignonne 😋😋😋 and what can I say about the tiramisu.. A delight.. we will definitely be back.

Welcoming atmosphere, the young waiter was very kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. The owner was a bit less so...a bit too serious and lacking a smile...otherwise, the food was top-notch! The appetizer of the day was fresh fried porcini mushrooms, delicious, though perhaps a bit pricey for just one dish. The kids had the exceptional traditional skewer, and we had the fondue with meat and house sauces...amazing!
All paired with an excellent DOC Valdostano Pinot wine for €30.
Kudos to the chef, who, watching from our table at work, seemed the undisputed queen of the kitchen and almost single-handedly able to keep up with the many orders.
Excellent and specializing in traditional dishes...rare in the area.
Not cheap, but worth it!

We tried the Covalou restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn't convince us. The atmosphere is simple and the service courteous, but the food didn't live up to expectations: mediocre and poorly prepared dishes, with the polenta served too runny, which was quite disappointing. Overall, nothing exceptional.

A truly positive dining experience. The atmosphere was refined, with attention to detail and a love of cooking. The waiter made an excellent wine selection (Nebbiolo) and the appetizer of fresh breaded and fried porcini mushrooms was a delight (though it had a significant impact on the bill, which perhaps should be noted, but it was still €24, well spent). The chestnut gnocchi with gorgonzola, walnuts, and speck were very good, but the Valpellinese soup was the dish of the evening for me. My first experience with Bourguignonne, which was quite positive. Perhaps I didn't quite understand how to handle the oil, which stops sizzling after a while. The meat was excellent. It will definitely be a go-to if we return to the Aosta Valley. Special mention goes to the young, helpful, and knowledgeable waiter. A final positive note: the bathroom was clean and fragrant. Congratulations to everyone.

Really Great time spent this at this restaurant, we wanted to discover the emblematic dishes of the region and they offered us this with an authenticity and a greed that we will not forget! (Too bad that the cheese and delicious polenta did not leave us room for a dessert that we would have gladly tasted!)
