Ristorante Corsini is a small gem nestled in the splendid setting of Corsini Park, beneath the medieval towers overlooking Fucecchio. The location is unique: nestled between history, nature, and a romantic English garden that creates a truly special atmosphere. Reserving was quick and easy. I asked for a table inside, and the manager, with great kindness, seated us in a cozy and intimate room. The welcome was perfect: as soon as we were seated, we were served a warm schiacciata, which already gave us a hint of the quality of the dinner. We started with an appetizer of coccoli and prosciutto, delicious and served with great care. Then came the star of the evening: the Florentine steak, brought on a hot cutting board to keep it at the perfect temperature. A true poem: tender, juicy, flavorful, with that salted butter sensation that only a few chefs can achieve. The wine list is interesting and well-thought out; we chose a Chianti, perfect for pairing with the meat. To round out the dinner, we were more than satisfied with a homemade dessert prepared by the chef. The service was impeccable: attentive but never intrusive, making us feel at home yet pampered. The value for money was excellent: €60 per person for appetizers, steak, dessert, and wine is more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food and the beauty of the location. A restaurant worth discovering and one that I will definitely be returning to. Kudos to the entire staff!
