The host's friendliness certainly helps the rating.
The food is good, the only criticism being that the shrimp intestines aren't cleaned properly and that the pasta needs a minute more cooking time.
The wine is excellent, but the prices are definitely not for tourists.
For this reason, I would still recommend offering a menu with clear prices, to avoid surprises and subsequent negative reviews.

A good restaurant in the heart of Portici. We had a lovely lunch; the owner was a truly charming person who gave us great advice and detailed explanations of the ingredients in the various dishes.

Amazing food, surpassed only by the kindness of the host.
I went to Cordella twice and the lovely hosts Ciro and his wife were very kind and supportive.
They even prepared me a hot choccolate, which wasn't on the menu!!!!
Ciro ans his wife are gems!

On a scorchingly hot and sunny Sunday, this trendy restaurant in Portici proved to be a
random, yet rewarding, refuge for the traveler about to visit the royal palace.
The house-made fried dish of stuffed anchovies, brought to the table while waiting for the paccheri, was a fitting culinary debut.
This was followed by the seafood pacchero, brought to the table in a dramatic fashion, even though only the lobster shell was present, which was also a great success.
The glass of white wine proved to be the perfect accompaniment to the dishes.
The homemade dessert was delicious and tasty.
Polite and efficient service, fair price. Well done.
