My boyfriend and I went today. Just what we were looking for. Typical place, quiet and very welcoming. The staff is exquisite just like the food. Highly recommended for an immersive experience.

Had lunch with slightly overcooked pasta, good roast

It is not a restaurant but a "time machine" that brings to life past atmospheres by accompanying them with genuine and traditional dishes, cooked with evident commitment. Try it and you will be impressed. Last time I had an excellent radicchio pie, polenta made on a wood stove and venison stew (fantastic). I really hope this place never changes. It is a testimony to the community of times gone by.
