Since 1976, Cian Restaurant has been a true masterpiece of fine dining. It was discovered on an episode of *Quattro Ristoranti*, where it was the overall winner. And I can say with certainty that the recognition was more than deserved. This restaurant is a true paradise for lovers of seafood and good food, located in a truly enchanting setting that further enhances the culinary experience.
As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff, who immediately make you feel at ease. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, yet with a touch of elegance that makes every meal a true experience. The staff is always available to satisfy every request, with a smile accompanying every dish served.
Fish is the true star of the menu, and the freshness is simply impeccable. You can clearly sense the attention paid to selecting the ingredients, with dishes that showcase the authentic flavor of the sea. Each course is prepared with obsessive attention to detail, from the raw vegetables to the cooked dishes, each bite a discovery of intense and perfectly balanced flavors.
The restaurant's location is equally captivating: a haven of peace and beauty that seems to have been designed specifically to complement the quality of the food. Whether lunch or dinner, the view and the surrounding environment make the experience even more memorable.
Ultimately, Ristorante Cian Dal 1976 is a place worthy of all the praise it has received and definitely worth a visit for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh seafood in a refined and welcoming environment. Not just a restaurant, but a gastronomic experience you'll never forget. I will definitely return and highly recommend everyone to try it. A true gem in the restaurant scene!
Review Update:
I've returned to Cian dal 1976 for the third time, and this year I have to say they've really raised the bar.
We started with the freshest oysters and clams, followed by a tuna carpaccio with green apple and black Maldon salt: a surprising and successful combination. To round out the raw seafood, we also served raw shrimp, scampi, and julienned cuttlefish, delicate and delicious.
For the first course, I tried the famous "Tzunami" tagliolini: scampi, crab, and mantis shrimp... a rich, intense dish with remarkable lingering flavors and aromas. The homemade seafood fettuccine was also excellent, balanced and flavorful.
For the second course, the seafood compote was a pleasant discovery: sea bass in a potato and almond crust, scampi au gratin, and grilled calamari, all beautifully executed. We finished with fried calamari, light and perfectly crispy.
A restaurant that continues to prove itself a reliable favorite, and this year has convinced me even more.

While on vacation with friends, we had dinner one evening at this magnificent restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was truly excellent. When we went to pay, we were amazed... we thought we'd spent much more. I'd say the 4-restaurant award is well deserved.

Five of us went to this seafood restaurant: the food was excellent and the service impeccable, but nothing to complain about the hospitality and the perceived quality of the food.
Unfortunately, however, a few hours later, all five of us had serious stomach problems.
I even took the time to send a WhatsApp message to the restaurant to let them know if there was something wrong with the preparation of some raw seafood, but they didn't even respond.
A real shame, because the dining experience had been positive, but what happened next and the lack of attention from the management after spending over €300 doesn't seem right to me.

We came here after watching the episode of 4 Restaurants...and I have to say that the place fully met our expectations.
The place is delightful; we dined on the terrace. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious.

The location is charming, in the center of this rural Molise village. Our table was outside, which we really appreciated.
Recommended by friends who are fans of Borghese's programs, we dined here on August 15th.
The set menu isn't the best way to get a true feel for the restaurant, but we were warned of this in advance by the very kind owner.
We enjoyed the entree accompanied by prosecco for the opening toast.
The trio of appetizers was tasty, pleasant, and well-made.
We enjoyed the first course, with mezze maniche, monkfish, and datterini tomatoes.
The second course was also well-made, although the farmed sea bass fillet (inevitable when you have to prepare a hundred) wasn't the best.
The dessert was a sore point: a panna cotta topped with jelly and white chocolate. Not only was it tasteless, but it was served to three of us practically melted, confusing the poor waiter who asked if I wanted another (so why did you bring it to me?). A small incident that can happen in a large-scale service.
The Pecorino wine was good and pleasant.
The price seemed completely fair.
I'd love to return to order à la carte.

After finding out it won an episode of 4 Ristoranti and received a positive review from Gambero Rosso, there wasn't much to add other than confirming our expectations. From the photos, you can immediately see the quality of the dishes, the impeccable service, and the excellent cleanliness.
