Excellent hospitality, a very charming rustic setting, and truly delicious food. Typical Genoese cuisine. We've known this place for a long time, and it's always a guarantee. You can never go wrong!

A spartan place, the food was nothing special, but the panissa was very good, although it was served as an appetizer. Since we were a large group of people, I didn't expect the flamenghille (small trays) in which the first courses were served were so rigidly positioned. The price was inappropriate for the type of place and menu. Friendly staff.

We stopped here during a hike and were thrilled with both the super friendly service and the excellent food! You sit on an enchanting terrace overlooking the walls with a wonderful view. The price was super fair for the great quality of the food! Thank you so much! We'd love to come back!

This is our third time at this restaurant, and we've always had a great time. It's a simple but welcoming place with very friendly staff, good food, and reasonable prices. Plus, in the summer, you can eat outside surrounded by greenery.

09/03/2025: Sono stata svariate volte al Mille e una notte e ho sempre apprezzato tutto, come da mie precedenti recensioni. Acciughe impanate e fritte e fritto misto sempre top, buoni i dolci, posto stupendo etc etc... Però il baccalà brandacujun servito con i carciofi mi ha delusa perchè il baccalà non l'ho proprio percepito, mi è sembrato di mangiare purè di patate con i carciofi, un ottimo purè con ottimi carciofi ma solo quello. Per questo attribuisco solo 3 pallini e non 4 o 5.

Antica Osteria Luchin

22/11/2025: Quaint place. They don't take reservations. We ate outside even though they lit a mushroom for us. The food was excellent, as was the wine. Service was quick, and most importantly, the price was fair.
19/10/2025: A historic place in the center of Chiavari, but it's lost some of its essence. Eating at tables with strangers without the option to reserve, paper tablecloths, a first-floor bathroom not accessible, etc., and then paying €15 for five stuffed anchovies is a bit perplexing. I wouldn't recommend it against it, but to spend €40 for two dishes and half a liter of wine in what should be a convivial osteria with short stays, I'd add a few more euros and go to a real restaurant. Personal opinion, of course.
