Peruvian cuisine reflects the intersection of Andean traditions with European, African, and Asian influences. It stands out for its creativity and variety, often underrated or little-known, but it must be said that today it is a leading player on the international scene, with Lima recognized as a gastronomic capital and four Peruvian restaurants ranking among the world's top restaurants. Chakana perfectly embodies this passion with tasty traditional cuisine and carefully crafted plating that showcases every ingredient. The welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail make the experience even more enjoyable. I personally chose the Papa a la Huancaína, the Anticuchos de Corazón, and the classic Lomo Saltado, accompanied by the ever-present Pisco Sour as an aperitif. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair and in line with the quality offered. We will definitely be back, especially because next time I want to order the ceviche, a fresh dish of raw fish marinated in lime juice, considered a cultural heritage of Peru and a symbol of its gastronomy.

Personally, I rarely praise a restaurant. But this little place deserves it. The menu is limited, but the dishes are carefully selected and superb! I tried the chaufa rice, salted pork loin, rice with seafood, aji de gallina, pachamanca, causacevichada, leche de tigre, and anticuchos—all of which I've tried several times, and because I'm a regular, I recommend them all! As for the cocktails, there's not much to say; the pisco sour is their best. The only small flaw concerns the girls who work there; I'll start by saying they're very kind, but for my money, I think they lack a bit of training in table service. I'd also like to thank the owner for his patience, kindness, and the smile he always has for everyone. I also remember that they sometimes organize interesting events, shows, and live music!

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant with a dinner with friends, the staff was kind, helpful and competent to advise which dishes to choose! The restaurant menu is varied and interesting! Both appetizers and main courses are abundant! The products are fresh and refined! The desserts conclude everything perfectly! We also had the opportunity to take home what was left. Very large internal parking lot. The place is suitable both for a date as a couple and for an outing to celebrate some event. Easy access for the disabled. I only recommend turning down the volume.

A real discovery! This Peruvian restaurant was a fantastic experience. The authentic and local flavors are perfectly combined with a refined and meticulously crafted presentation. Each dish was delicious, balanced and prepared with great attention to detail: you can feel the passion in the kitchen! The environment is welcoming, well-decorated and transmits warmth and authenticity. The service was good, attentive and kind. Excellent value for money. I also highly recommend trying their drinks: surprising and really well made! I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a journey through the flavors of Peru, without sacrificing elegance.
