This Peruvian restaurant has many strong points: the atmosphere, with its elegant furnishings and soft lighting, the professionalism of the staff, the meticulously crafted drinks, and the excellent quality of the food. I tried this restaurant for the first time on New Year's Eve, and I'm completely satisfied with the experience. I'll definitely be back to try their Friday night aperitivo!

I visited this restaurant on Friday evening for the Criollo Buffet, and the experience was truly amazing. The quality of the food is excellent: authentic flavors, well-prepared, and truly representative of Peruvian cuisine—rich, generous, and full of character. After trying many Peruvian restaurants, including in Milan, I can say this place clearly stands out: here, you can find the true flavors of Peru, without any forced or reinterpretations that distort their essence. For this very reason, I will definitely return to try the à la carte menu, because if the buffet is this good, the menu really promises a lot. The restaurant is beautiful and well-kept, with pleasant decor and a clear focus on cleanliness (the bathrooms are impeccable). I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied and happy, even with a sense of pride for a cuisine that is so well represented here.

Peruvian cuisine reflects the intersection of Andean traditions with European, African, and Asian influences. It stands out for its creativity and variety, often underrated or little-known, but it must be said that today it is a leading player on the international scene, with Lima recognized as a gastronomic capital and four Peruvian restaurants ranking among the world's top restaurants. Chakana perfectly embodies this passion with tasty traditional cuisine and carefully crafted plating that showcases every ingredient. The welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail make the experience even more enjoyable. I personally chose the Papa a la Huancaína, the Anticuchos de Corazón, and the classic Lomo Saltado, accompanied by the ever-present Pisco Sour as an aperitif. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair and in line with the quality offered. We will definitely be back, especially because next time I want to order the ceviche, a fresh dish of raw fish marinated in lime juice, considered a cultural heritage of Peru and a symbol of its gastronomy.

Personally, I rarely praise a restaurant. But this little place deserves it. The menu is limited, but the dishes are carefully selected and superb! I tried the chaufa rice, salted pork loin, rice with seafood, aji de gallina, pachamanca, causacevichada, leche de tigre, and anticuchos—all of which I've tried several times, and because I'm a regular, I recommend them all! As for the cocktails, there's not much to say; the pisco sour is their best. The only small flaw concerns the girls who work there; I'll start by saying they're very kind, but for my money, I think they lack a bit of training in table service. I'd also like to thank the owner for his patience, kindness, and the smile he always has for everyone. I also remember that they sometimes organize interesting events, shows, and live music!
