Ristorante Cecio In Vernazza

We stopped here with our tour group for some lunch and were served the best pesto I've ever had! Wish the portions were bigger, but practically licked my plate clean.

We only ate at the restaurant for lunch. Molto bene! Delicious fresh homemade pasta. And incredible view!

The best restaurant in Corniglia!

We dined here thanks to a mix-up with another restaurant, but we were warmly welcomed by the owner and ate excellent fresh fish!

I had a very pleasant stay in Cecio rooms. The rooms were neat and the staff makes you feel at home. The place would require some struggle to reach from Corniglia train station but it has a very peaceful ambience and a great balcony view.

To celebrate New Year's Eve 2018, we chose the charming and historic "Borgo di Corniglia" in the Cinque Terre with our cousins. The New Year's Eve dinner was served and enjoyed at the characteristic "Ristorante CECIO," a pleasant and welcoming family-run establishment with good service and excellent value, where we were welcomed with warmth and great hospitality. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially Giacinto and Cristina, coordinated by Mr. Carmelo (the owner) and under the attentive direction of the energetic "Mamma ELIA." The restaurant features load-bearing columns with embedded arches, made of rustic local stone and exposed terracotta bricks, and a coffered wooden ceiling. The excellent cuisine is managed by a creative chef, who creates original Ligurian and other dishes. The well-stocked cellar offers a variety of wines, particularly local ones from the Cinque Terre. Stunning view, the place is nice, especially the terrace. The food and service are quite mediocre.

Vengo spesso per lavoro a Corniglia ed ho avuto il piacere di mangiare svariate volte da Cecio, rimanendo ogni volta piacevolmente impressionato. Qualità e cura nella preparazione dei piatti, personale gentilissimo (un plauso alla cucina, a Cristina e al sempre sorridente Giacinto in sala). Prezzi onesti in una zona altamente turistica. Grande anche Angelo con il suo cocktail!

Ieri siamo stati presso questo ristorante con terrazza vista mare.. stupendo.... noi con il ns cagnolone.... servizio top. Ci o ottimo. Prezzo giusto. Veramente una bella esperienza. Consigliatissimo.
