We visited this restaurant in early January during a vacation in beautiful Corniglia.
It was a wonderful experience; the food was delicious and expertly prepared.
The staff was qualified and very professional.
A wonderful discovery in an area full of wine bars that have distorted the cuisine and flavors of traditional Ligurian cuisine.

Delicious food, great views and charming environment. Seems family owned and they have great seafood options and a variety of local wines. Be aware of the working hours as they close during the afternoon and reopen around 19:00 for dinner. Also reasonable prices. We had a lovely dinner with views of the sunset, highly recommend

My boyfriend and I have been treating ourselves to a March stay at Cecio for three years now. I think it's almost unnecessary to comment on the beauty of the panorama surrounding Cecio, because being in the Cinque Terre is a given. The rooms (especially those with a sea-view balcony) are breathtaking, the staff is extremely friendly, and the restaurant serves exquisite seafood. We can't wait to return every May; it's a breath of fresh air.

In the beautiful and lesser-known Corniglia, we had dinner at Cecio, recommended by the kind lady who rented us the apartment. This place was a lovely surprise. The location is truly fantastic, with a truly breathtaking view. Inside, there are two large rooms, one more traditional and the other with a slightly 1980s feel, but still welcoming.
We tried the house antipasto, which was wonderful! Afterwards, we ordered two pasta dishes with monkfish, both of which were also very good. The service was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The price was in line with the Cinque Terre average. We recommend it.

The two of us stopped for dinner on January 2nd by pure chance, but what a pleasant discovery. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, the staff immediately went out of their way to find us a table. We had a phenomenal fish appetizer and two delicious traditional Ligurian first courses. The fish was fresh, the ingredients excellent, as was the white wine we were served. Honorable mention goes to the homemade desserts featuring seasonal, locally sourced fruit. And then there's the atmosphere, the conversation, the friendliness. It's worthy of an essay, not a review.

If you want to eat trofie with homemade pesto, this is the right place. Simple and homely service, mixed fried pasta as a first course, we will definitely return!!!
