Sunday lunch with Tuscan and Venetian friends. All very good. The space-age porcini mushroom 'fry'. Exquisite, as are the appetizers, the risotto, the pumpkin soup with chestnuts. Every time we come back it gets better and better and the service is excellent too.

Always nice to come back. A cozy and elegant environment that puts you at ease. Diversified dishes always maintaining the traditions of local cuisine in their choice.

It is always a pleasure to return to Castellaccio, a place full of beautiful memories for us. The welcome, the environment, the service in the room, the friendliness and last but not least the exquisite dishes, make this restaurant a place to return to often.

A traditional restaurant, attentive to detail. Worth trying (especially if you come from outside) are the Pisarei, or gnocchi with bean ragù, and the typical Tortelli Piacentini with ricotta and spinach. The pork shank is also excellent. A good cellar allows you to taste wines from local wineries. Good service and welcoming, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Advised!
Pisarei and faśö, also called pisarei cui faśö, are a typical pasta dish from the province of Piacenza, among the best known of Piacenza cuisine. These are dumplings made of flour and breadcrumbs seasoned with a sauce based on beans, lard, onion and tomato.

Beautiful Location. Delicious and well presented food. I ate the Risotto in the parmesan form. Enjoy the half bottles of wine with a wide range of choices. Quick and efficient service. Great friendliness. Large internal parking. Price in line with location and quality of food. Highly recommended
