Great food, ossobuco as main, and polite service and a stunning view. I would have liked to have same waiter, we had 3 different during our dinner Steep walk from Stresa, we left the car and walked up the day after. Puh!

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic staff, and delicious food. As soon as you walk in, you'll be greeted by the scent of home. Traditional dishes, MADE WELL! The service was like that of a luxury restaurant; the waitress was meticulous and attentive to each table. For example, one napkin was stained with wine, and she promptly brought a clean one without asking. The owners were fantastic and sweet! It was a wonderful discovery, and I'll gladly return! Thank you so much for providing us with a wonderful and delicious lunch.

Recommended by a local hotelier, I ended up at this restaurant, but I can't say I was impressed. We ate inside in an extremely noisy room. The food was of sufficient quality, as was the service. Well... perhaps I've been to another restaurant, given the countless positive reviews from other customers (perhaps more impressed by the view than anything else). PS: For customers who don't want to drink wine, the only thing you can do is remove the wine glasses from the table, and don't comment, embarrassingly, with an "Oh, too bad." Just having a bow tie isn't enough to be a restaurant professional.

03/12/2025: We went for pizza. The dough was really delicious. It's a shame they put the tomato sauce on it completely raw, as if it had just been taken out of the tin, and the mozzarella wasn't perfectly melted. If they'd put it on the ingredients before cooking, the pizza would have been fabulous. This resulted in an American-style pizza that ruined the flavor. I think they do it to save time, but it makes a negative difference. It's a shame. Furthermore, the breaded cutlet the child had was overcooked, almost burnt on one side and therefore dry. I expected much more from a historic restaurant. I don't think we'll come again.

10/11/2025: Okay, but on the other hand, we waited over an hour for two pasta dishes. At that time of year, bring a sweater or jacket into the dining room.
10/11/2025: We had a very good meal. The terrace offers a beautiful and relaxed setting. The service was a little slow and the price is rather high compared to other restaurants on the island.
